Large commercial companies often use warehouses to store and organize their product inventory. However, manually keeping track of inventory through physical means can be a tedious process and is at risk for a variety of potential issues. It is very easy for records to be inaccurate or duplicated, especially if large reorganizations are undertaken, as this can cause issues such as duplicate product ID numbers. FridgeChamp is a website to allow people to track their fridge/pantry contents while providing them recipes they can make with said ingredients. Currently there are few ingredient trackers and recipe matchers that exist as websites, and of those many lack simplistic recipes that a home chef would use. In addition to lacking some recipes, many tracker/recipe apps do not have a function to remove from your stock what a recipe requires, making you tediously update the stock every time you cook/use something.

The basic goal of this project was to create a four-tier web application which would allow users to upload their personal resumes to the website, and it ultimately would parse the resume and look for keywords. Then using these keywords, it would use a job API to look for these values and ultimately display job information to the user based on their skills. While applications exist which would look for jobs based on skills, it was mostly manually inputted skills. This project looks to take the statistics of soccer players and run them through an algorithm to determine how well a player is performing. The system that will be designed in the project will look to accomplish 3 main goals: allow the user to enter new statistics, store the data for all 38 game weeks for all 20 teams, and compute a score for each player’s performance for each game as well as the average of all of the player's scores.

U.S. Census Explorer is a software application that is designed to provide tools for intuitive exploration and analysis of United States census data for non-technical users. The application serves as an interface into the U.S. Census Bureau’s data API that enables a complete workflow from data acquisition to data visualization without the need for technical intervention from the user. The suite of tools provided include a graphical user interface for dynamically querying U.S. census data, geographic visualizations, and the ability to download your work to common spreadsheet and image formats for inclusion in external works.

Traditional spectrometers are expensive and non-portable, making them inaccessible to the public. This application will be used in conjunction with spectrometer hardware developed by Erie Open Systems. The hardware itself is 3D printed and, in addition to being portable, enables data to be collected easily. The purpose of this project is to create a cross-platform application capable of reading the output from the spectrometer hardware, calculating the absorbance levels of the sample against the control, and recording the data in tables stored on the cloud. This data would then be used to allow users to generate informative visuals about specific sets of players. Obtaining statistics from the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the 2018-19 season was the original target goal. This paper examines the benefits of custom built as opposed to licensed software, using a guest management system as a comparison. The University of Akron employs a web application that allows residents to check guests into each residence hall on campus. In addition to this paper, a custom web application was built to contrast against the university's current system and to recognize the issues raised by its employee staff. This paper is written using the software development lifecycle as its main structure; the planning and analysis through the development process is discussed at length.

The smart-teleprompter is a website that allows a logged in user to edit text files as well as teleprompt them straight to the screen. A teleprompter is used by newscasters and other media professionals to read scripts while still looking at or near the camera. This Honors Project focused on a few aspects of this topic. The second is comparing the molecular signature kernels to three of the BLOSUM matrices (30, 62, and 90) to test the accuracy of the mathematical model. The kernel matrix was manipulated in order to improve the relationship by focusing on side groups and also by changing how the structure was represented in the matrix by increasing the initial height distance from the central atom (Height 1 and Height 2 included).
