(R2099) Boundedness And Square Integrability In Neutral Differential Equations With Delay And Exponential Stability In Nonlinear Differential Equations Of Third-Order, Fatima Abdellaoui, Mebrouk Rahmane
Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM)
The Lyapunov second method is an eigenvalue-based technique which consist of finding a Lyapunov function candidate for studying the stability of dynamical systems which is hard to deal with especially in most of nonlinear cases. Studying the stability and some of other qualitative behaviors based on the Lyapunov second method is research topic of actuality because of the wide range of applications of the differential equations. Many authors in the literature have used the second method of Lyapunov in the study of some qualitative behaviors from which the stability, the boundedness and the square integrability of solutions for various kinds …

(R1892) On The Asymptotic Stability Of A Neutral System With Nonlinear Perturbations And Constant Delay, Melek Gözen
Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM)
In this paper, we consider a nonlinear perturbed system of neutral delay integro-differential equations (NDIDEs). We prove two new theorems, Theorems 1 and 2, such that these theorems include sufficient conditions and are related to asymptotically stability of zero solution of the perturbed system of NDIDEs. The technique of the proofs depend upon the definitions of two new and more suitable Lyapunov- Krasovskiĭ functionals (LKFs). When we compared the results of this paper with those are found the literature related , our results improve and extend some classical results, and do new contributions to the topic of NDIDEs and literature.

(R1517) Asymptotical Stability Of Riemann-Liouville Fractional Neutral Systems With Multiple Time-Varying Delays, Erdal Korkmaz, Abdulhamit Ozdemir
Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM)
In this manuscript, we investigate the asymptotical stability of solutions of Riemann-Liouville fractional neutral systems associated to multiple time-varying delays. Then, we use the linear matrix inequality (LMI) and the Lyapunov-Krasovskii method to obtain sufficient conditions for the asymptotical stability of solutions of the system when the given delays are time dependent and one of them is unbounded. Finally, we present some examples to indicate the efficacy of the consequences obtained.

On The Asymptotic Stability Of A Nonlinear Fractional-Order System With Multiple Variable Delays, Yener Altun, Cemil Tunç
Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM)
In this paper, we consider a nonlinear differential system of fractional-order with multiple variable delays. We investigate asymptotic stability of zero solution of the considered system. We prove a new result, which includes sufficient conditions, on the subject by means of a suitable Lyapunov functional. An example with numerical simulation of its solutions is given to illustrate that the proposed method is flexible and efficient in terms of computation and to demonstrate the feasibility of established conditions by MATLAB-Simulink.

Boundedness And Square Integrability In Neutral Differential Systems Of Fourth Order, Mebrouk Rahmane, Moussadek Remili, Linda D. Oudjedi
Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM)
The aim of this paper is to study the asymptotic behavior of solutions to a class of fourth-order neutral differential equations. We discuss the stability, boundedness and square integrability of solutions for the considered system. The technique of proofs involves defining an appropriate Lyapunov functional. Our results obtained in this work improve and extend some existing well-known related results in the relevant literature which were obtained for nonlinear differential equations of fourth order with a constant delay. The obtained results here are new even when our equation is specialized to the forms previously studied and include many recent results in …

Stability Of Delayed Virus Infection Model With A General Incidence Rate And Adaptive Immune Response, Zhimin Chen, Xiuxiang Liu, Zhongzhong Xie
Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM)
We present the dynamical behaviors of a virus infection model with general infection rate, immune responses and two intracellular delays which describe the interactions of the HIV virus, target cells, CTL cells and antibodies within host. Three factors are incorporated in this model: (1) the intrinsic growth rate of uninfected cells, (2) a nonlinear incidence rate function considering both virus-tocell infection and cell-to-cell transmission, and (3) a nonlinear productivity and removal function. By the method of Lyapunov functionals and LaSalle’s invariance principle, we show that the global dynamics of the model is determined by the reproductive numbers for viral infection …

Ultimate Boundedness And Periodicity Results For A Certain System Of Third-Order Nonlinear Vector Delay Differential Equations, Linda D. Oudjedi, Moussadek Remili
Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM)
In the last years, there has been increasing interest in obtaining the sufficient conditions for stability, instability, boundedness, ultimately boundedness, convergence, etc. For instance, in applied sciences some practical problems concerning mechanics, engineering technique fields, economy, control theory, physical sciences and so on are associated with third, fourth and higher order nonlinear differential equations. The problem of the boundedness and stability of solutions of vector differential equations has been widely studied by many authors, who have provided many techniques especially for delay differential equations. In this work a class of third order nonlinear non-autonomous vector delay differential equations is considered …

A Boundedness And Stability Results For A Kind Of Third Order Delay Differential Equations, Moussadek Remili, Djamila Beldjerd
Applications and Applied Mathematics: An International Journal (AAM)
The objective of this study was to get some sufficient conditions which guarantee the asymptotic stability and uniform boundedness of the null solution of some differential equations of third order with the variable delay. The most efficient tool for the study of the stability and boundedness of solutions of a given nonlinear differential equation is provided by Lyapunov theory. However the construction of such functions which are positive definite with corresponding negative definite derivatives is in general a difficult task, especially for higher-order differential equations with delay. Such functions and their time derivatives along the system under consideration must satisfy …
