In Silico And In Vitro Studies On Ha-G-Pnipam Modified Liposomal Curcumin For Cancer Treatment, Abd. Umar
Chulalongkorn University Theses and Dissertations (Chula ETD)
Cancer remains the leading cause of global mortality, with conventional chemotherapy drugs often limited by poor selectivity, side effects, and drug resistance. As a promising alternative and adjuvant, curcumin offers potent anticancer properties, but its low bioavailability highlights the need for targeted delivery systems to enhance its therapeutic potential. This study designs a targeted delivery system for curcumin using hyaluronic acid-grafted pNIPAM (HA-g-pNIPAM) modified liposomes, characterized both experimentally and computationally. The results show that the nanoparticle system has a size range of 80-120 nm, a PDI of 0.12-0.3, a zeta potential of -13.2 to -50.8 mV, and an absorption efficiency …
