There has been increasing reports of later endocrine effects including growth hormone deficiency (GHD). Our aim is to investigate the influence of adding aromatase inhibitors (AI) to growth hormone (GH) therapy in childhood cancer survivors with growth hormone deficiency (GHD). Turner Syndrome (TS) is associated with primary ovarian insufficiency (POI). Most adolescents with TS require hormone replacement therapy (HRT).1 International guidelines recommend transdermal estradiol (TDE) as first-line estrogen replacement therapy.1 Care within a multidisciplinary clinic (MDC) has been associated with higher adherence to screening guidelines for metabolic and auditory disorders in TS.2 It is unknown if adherence to guidelines for postpubertal HRT differ for adolescents with TS managed in a MDC compared to those managed outside of a MDC. Background: Severe hypertriglyceridemia (SHTG) is defined as triglyceride (TG) >= 1000 mg/dL and increases the risk of developing acute pancreatitis. Insulin activates lipoprotein lipase which accelerates chylomicron degradation leading to a rapid decrease in TG levels. There is a paucity of pediatric standard of care for insulin use to treat SHTG.

Objectives/Goal: Our objective was to develop a protocol to standardize SHTG management using insulin infusion and decrease the duration of SHTG resolution while preventing hypoglycemia.

Background: Studies of transgender/gender diverse (TGD) youth indicate a high prevalence of overweight/obesity and concern for unhealthy weight control behavior.

Objectives/Goal: Describe BMI and the association of medication use, well-being, and recreational activities in treatmentnaïve pediatric TGD patients.

Methods/Design: Chart review of 302 patients (age 3-19, 73.5% sex assigned at birth (SAB) female; 85.8% white) from 2017-20. BMI was calculated by age and SAB using CDC growth charts. Parents reported medication use. Parent and self-reported Pediatric Quality of Life (PEDS-QL) Well-Being and activities were surveyed electronically.

Background: Patients with 45,X/46,XY mosaicism can have genitalia spanning the range from typical female to typical male, and the sex assigned at birth is often based on the appearance of the genitalia. According to current nomenclature, only the subgroup assigned female are diagnosed with Turner syndrome (TS) (Gravholt et al, 2017). Clinical practice guidelines recommend that girls with TS be screened for several comorbidities, including short stature, cardiac and renal anomalies, and autoimmune conditions, but there are no recommendations for screening of boys with 45,X/46,XY mosaicism.
