Management Of Urolithiasis With Individualised Homoeopathy – A Case Report, Pawan Sharma, Tanya Aggarwal, Subhamoy Sarkar Dec 2021

Management Of Urolithiasis With Individualised Homoeopathy – A Case Report, Pawan Sharma, Tanya Aggarwal, Subhamoy Sarkar

Indian Journal of Research in Homoeopathy

Introduction: The population of the North-eastern region of India is prone to develop renal stones, and the prevalence and recurrence rate of renal stone disease is thus higher. A stone more than 0.5 cm diameter can cause painful ureteric obstruction. Stones of size more than 0.7 cm almost always require surgical intervention, as believed in conventional medicine. Repeated surgical interventions may remove obstruction but may not be a solution for altering the tendency for renal stone formation. Homoeopathy, an alternative system of medicine can offer holistic approach in treating such cases non-invasively. Case Summary: A 32 years old male patient …

Homoeopathic Management Of Wrist Ganglion: Case Series, Arunava Nath, Deb Palit

Indian Journal of Research in Homoeopathy

Introduction: Ganglion cysts are soft tissue swellings occurring most commonly in the hand or wrist. Studies have reported 8%–50% of them resolve spontaneously in adults within 2 years approximately. Cases Summary: We present three cases of wrist ganglion treated successfully with individualized homoeopathic medicines; the results were evident within few weeks. Individual curative response of a homoeopathic medicine in each case was assessed through Modified Naranjo Criteria for Homoeopathy-Causal Attribution Inventory, which further elucidated role of constitutional treatment in homoeopathy.

A Case Report Of Hyperuricaemia With Nephrolithiasis Treated With Homoeopathy, Pooja Gautam

Indian Journal of Research in Homoeopathy

Introduction: Hyperuricaemia is serum urate concentration exceeding the limit of solubility, leading to its precipitation and predisposing the affected persons to gout. The increased level of uric acid in urinary excretion can also lead to nephrolithiasis. It has also been implicated as an indicator for diseases such as metabolic syndrome, diabetes mellitus, cardiovascular disease and chronic renal disease. Whereas homoeopathic literature enlists many medicines for this condition, there is a paucity of evidence-based published studies. Case Summary: The case presented here reported with the complaint of renal stone secondary to high serum uric acid levels. A single homoeopathic medicine Lycopodium …

Introduction: Homoeopathy, one of the most commonly employed alternative medicines globally, has a wide range of role in the management of diabetes. Screening of the action of homoeopathic medicines in diabetes on animal model not only helps in validating their antidiabetic potential but also aids in understanding their effect on living systems and their mechanism of action. The present review focusses on the collection of results of pre-clinical studies carried out on homoeopathic medicines employed in the management of diabetes. Methodology: PubMed, HomBRex portal, and published literature such as library catalogue were searched up to November 2019. The search terms …

Active Principle In Potentised Medicines: Nanoparticle Versus Quantum Domain – An Overview, Papiya Nandy, Durga Bhar

Indian Journal of Research in Homoeopathy

Background: The fact that homoeopathic medicines act even at very high dilutions has created a confusion amongst scientists. This led to different models such as formation of nanoparticles and memory of water. The basic question 'what is responsible for physiological activity of homoeopathic medicines' is yet to be answered conclusively. Objective: The objective of this overview was to find out if formation of nanoparticles or creation of quantum domain in the medium is responsible for the physiological activity of homoeopathic medicines. Methods: This overview is based on the experiments done between 2004 and 2019. Results: The succussion of the medicine …
