Severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome virus (SFTSV) infections have recently been found in rural regions of Zhejiang. A severe fever with thrombocytopenia syndrome (SFTS) surveillance and sero-epidemiological investigation was conducted in the districts with outbreaks. During the study period of 2011–2014, a total of 51 SFTSV infection cases were identified and the case fatality rate was 12% (6/51). Ninety two percent of the patients (47/51) were over 50 years of age, and 63% (32/51) of laboratory confirmed cases occurred from May to July. This study aims to identify the continuous action plan in Fatmawati General Hospital outpatient services in order to increase the Fatmawati General Hospital’s image. The study is conducted through interviewing patients, health workers, managements staff, and the macro analysis is done through policy analysis. The results showed that thegap in outpatient service is in the compatibility quality (service speed, drug completeness, comfort) and communication. The treatment duration of MDR-TB patients is very long approximately, 18 until 24 months and the cost is very expensive. This study aimed to find out the treatment outcome as well as the cost variation of MDR/XDR-TB patients. This is an operational research using quantitative and qualitative mix methods. The sample were treatedMDR/XDR-TB patients who started the treatment from August 2009 until December 31, 2010. Total number of sample were 104 patients. This qualitative study discusses the inaccuracies on medical record entry charging, and inaccuracy on coding that caused provider bear the financial risk in the case of Tetralogy of Fallot in INA-CBG at the Pediatric Cardiology and congenital heart disease unit RS Harapan Kita from January-September 2013. This study showed that 21.4% of cases with incomplete secondary diagnosis and the difference between the claim of Rp 251.273.615,- (4%). Factors contributed incomplete secondary diagnoses are: responsiblity, physical facilities, standard operating procedure of medical record, training, monitoring, and socialization. The focus of this study is about outpatient journey of “Dharmais” Cancer Hospital in 2014 with purposes to find the unit with highest variation of patient journey and to analize the cause of the variation. This research is cross-sectional qualitative. The results of this research show that APJ Instalation is the unit with the highest variation of patient journey, and the causing factors are softtare of the computer supporting the service, human resource, infrastructure, and service procedures. The researcher found out that high variation of patient journey will reduce the quality of the service.

Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) has emerged as an important technique in cognitive neuroscience, permitting causal inferences about the contribution of a given brain area to behavior. Despite widespread use, exactly how TMS influences neural activity throughout an interconnected network, and how such influences ultimately change behavior, remain unclear. The oculomotor system of nonhuman primates (NHPs) offers a potential animal model to bridge this gap. Abstract The effectiveness of aspirin and clopidogrel in patients with chronic kidney disease (CKD) suffering from acute cardiovascular events is unclear. High on treatment platelet reactivity (HTPR) has been associated with worse outcomes. Here, we assessed the association of dipstick proteinuria (DP) and renal function on HTPR and clinical outcomes. Retrospective cohort analysis of 261 consecutive, non-dialysis patients admitted for Major Adverse Cardiovascular Events (MACE) that had VerifyNow P2Y12 and VerifyNow Aspirin assays performed. HTPR was defined as P2Y12 reactivity unit (PRU) > 208 for clopidogrel and aspirin reaction units (ARU) > 550 for aspirin. Renal function was classified based on the …

Executive functioning is the ability to plan, strategize, organize, and focus on details. Impaired executive functioning plays a significant role in behavior disturbances. Lack of inhibition, impaired abstract reasoning, thought perseverance, rigidity in routine, and lack of insight disrupt social skills and daily life. Autism and schizophrenia present some similar behaviors, including impaired executive functioning, often resulting in pharmacological management as many healthcare professionals receive limited training in executive functioning. Non-pharmacological tools used in autism for behavior management include functional behavioral analysis and social scripting, which help to identify causes of behavior and teach more appropriate behavioral responses.
