Background: Empathy has various consequences for nurses. Therefore, its effects on nurses should be identified. Thus, this study aimed to determine the relationships between empathy, burnout, and level of contentment with life in nurses and the characteristics that affect them.

Methods: This descriptive–correlational study was conducted on 653 nurses in Turkey between November and December 2021. Data were collected using an information form, the Basic Empathy Scale, Burnout Measure Short Scale, and Contentment with Life Assessment Scale.

Results: A positive, weak, and significant relationship was noted between the mean Basic Empathy Scale and Burnout Measure Scale scores. …

Ondansetron, a preferred medication for the treatment, is classified as a biopharmaceutic classification system (BCS) class II drug, which limits its bioavailability. To enhance its solubility, sodium starch glycolate (SSG) and pregelatinized starch (PG) are used as super disintegrants. Introduction. Abdominal aortic pseudoaneurysm caused by autoimmune vasculitis is a rare complication. Clinical presentation of patients is often late with life–threatening complications.

Case Illustration: A 62–year–old male patient with infrarenal abdominal aortic pseudoaneurysm presenting with a 2–week worsening severe abdominal and lumbar pain with a history of uncontrolled hypertension and a history of oral ulcer. He was successfully treated with tube grafting through open surgical repair.

Conclusion: The pseudoaneurysm was successfully removed and replaced with a polyester tube graft with no perioperative complications and was discharged 5 days later

The rationale of the qualitative assessment that applies principle–based accreditation and the quantitative assessment that applies rule–based accreditation is reviewed here. Cholesterol oxidase (CO) was successfully produced from Streptomyces sp. via the submerged fermentation method, and 69 U/mL enzyme activity was obtained. This study aimed to determine cholesterol oxidation kinetics and the production of CO as a catalyst. The enzyme was diluted to 0.15, 0.075, and 0.00375 U/mL for the oxidation reaction. The substrate was also prepared in three concentrations: 3.23, 6.46, and 12.93 mM. Triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) is the most aggressive breast cancer subtype characterized by the lack of estro-gen, progesterone, and human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2) receptors. TNBC cells are becoming more aggressive due to the high expression of manganese superoxide dismutase (MnSOD) antioxidants to suppress reactive oxygen species-induced apoptosis and promote oncogenic signaling.
