An Analysis Of The Healthcare Center System As A Gatekeeper In 2018, Septiana Maharanti, Puput I Oktamiant

In managed care, primary healthcarecare facilities acts as the gatekeepers, and its success is judged from the number of visits. In the year 2016, the Healthcare Centers in Tangerang was unable to meet the targets set by BPJS healthcare, ideally the visit rate should reach >150‰ and the referral ratio <10%. However, the visit rate only reachd 41‰ and the referral ratio was 29%. In addition, most healthcare centers the nonspecialised referral ratio was above 5%. The purpose of this research is to analyze the healthcare service system as the gatekeepers in managed care. This research is a descriptive analytical study with a qualitative approach. The data was collected through in-depth interviews, examination of documents and observations. Research conducted at healthcare centers and clinics Pedurenan Pabuaran Tumpeng from May-June 2018. From this research we discovered that the low contact lrate was caused be the low first contact levels, continuity, and comprehensiveness. The registering process was also complicated. We also discovered that the lack of human resources also influences the low contact rate.

The Effect Of Cognitibe Behavioral Therapy On Heads Of Families' Smoking Behavior And Anxiety, Giur Hargiana, Budi Anna Keliat, Mustikasari Mustikasari

Indonesia is the fifth largest producer of cigarettes and has the third highest number of smokers in the world. This has potential biological, psychological, and social consequences. The aims of this study were to investigate the effects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) on smoking behavior and anxiety. Quasi-experimental non-equivalent control group pretest-posttest design was used. A total of 80 respondents were selected at random from 10 districts in proportion to the number of smokers in each district. Respondents completed questionnaires and received a course of CBT conducted over five meetings. There was a significant decrease smoking behavior and anxiety (p< 0.05) in the intervention group. Smoking behavior, nicotine dependence, and anxiety in male heads of family who smoke and who received CBT were significantly lower than in control group. The decreases in smoking behavior and anxiety were significantly correlated (p< 0.05). The study reveals, CBT can effectively change smoking habits as well as reduce anxiety.

The Effectiveness of the Integrated Insulin Monitoring Sheets to Decrease Hypoglycemia Incidence on the Diabetes Mellitus Type 2 Patients. Hypoglycemia is one of the side effects of insulin therapy administration for Type 2 Diabetes Mellitus patients. The study aimed to develop the integrated insulin monitoring sheets and examine its effectiveness in identifying and recording the incidence of hypoglycemia who received analog insulin therapies. Quality Improvement of Elderly Life in Depok City with Balance Exercise. The quality of life (QOL) of the older adult is affected by various factors such as physical health, psychological health, social relationships and environment. This study aimed to investigate the effect of balance exercise on quality of life among older adults. This quasi-experimental design included two groups; 30 subjects as intervention groups and 30 subjects as control groups. The sample was taken by multistage random sampling. There were significant improvements in quality of life among older adults (p<0,001). Balance exercise can improve physical health, psychological health, social relationships, and environment. Balance exercise can be utilized as one of the preventive efforts to increase the quality of life among older adults in the community. Further research may consider a variety of age to know the effectiveness of balance exercise.

In managing contact dermatitis, identification of the causative agent is essential to prevent recurrent complaints. Patch test is the gold standard to identify the causative agent. Nowadays, there are many patch test standard materials available in the market, but do not include all the materials that potentially cause contact dermatitis. Patch test using patient’s own products or later we refer to as non-standard materials, is very helpful in identifying the causative agents of contact dermatitis. Guidance is needed in producing non-standard patch test materials in order to avoid test results discrepancy.

Penelitian ini menggunakan data baseline Studi Kohort PTM tahun 2011-2012 di Bogor, dengan desain studicross sectional. Sampel penelitian sebanyak 2531 orang. Capitation calculation in Indonesia is not adjusted by individual and aggregate risk. Without risk adjustment, capitation rates are likely to overpay or underpay primary care. This study aimed to review risk-adjusted capitation payment in other countries for evaluation of capitation payment system in Indonesia. The conduct and reporting of this systematic review followed the recommendations of the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA).
