At present, research into suitable dielectric media has led to investigations in the field of organic fluorides. These fluorides must be synthesized and the corresponding chlorides of various organic compounds offer a starting point for the synthesis. Substitution fluorination is to be at tempted in a specially constructed pressure bomb using various catalysts and fluorinating agents with the organic chlorides. Among other organic chlorides chosen to be used in the pres sure bomb, ditolylethane, chlorinated to various degrees, was chosen as one of the trial reagents. Studies on the normal and abnormal vascularization of the renal vessels in the domestic cat (felis domestica) indicate the frequency of anomalies that occur, but in most of the studies it is the inferior vena cava that is most often recorded. Among the occasional references to several renal veins or arteries we have Huntington and McClure, Elmer Butler, Gaylord Bates, William Darrach, and C.H. Fortune. Yet no study seems to have been made of individuals of any particular class. A superficial observation seems to indicate a large number of cats used in the laboratory had multiple renal veins. Present day knowledge concerning the liver is derived from many sources and the accumulation of many methods of investigation. Sugar, which is needed by the body for energy, is stored in the liver as glycogen. Claude Bernard (26), an eminent physiologist, was the first to suspect that carbohydrates were stored in the liver. Faulty glycogen synthesis and hydrolysis results in one of our most widespread diseases, diabetes. Thus, many biochemists and physiologists have tried to find the mechanism of the process, and the primary and secondary facts which affect glycogenesis and glycogenolysis. The digestive tube proper of the Sparrow beings with the Oesophagus. This is a soft tubular organ which serves to convey food rapidly from the pharynx to the stomach. It extends along the median ventral margin of the neck lying dorsal to or to one side of the trachea. Posteriorly, at the base of the neck and shortly in front of the sternum it broadens slightly and gives rise to a dilated region of the oesophagus, namely the Crop, "whose secretion serves to moisten the food or even to initiate digestion." this research was undertaken primarily to discover the use of a capillary cross-arm "U" tube in the determination of the electrophoretic and other electrical proper ties of a plastic emulsion.
The primary objective was to determine the isoelectric point of the emulsion and also the optimum pH or electro-endosmotic motion.
The secondary and distant objective was to note when, how, and it any coherent plating on the electrodes took place.

The first identification of vitamin C as such took place in 1931. This water-soluble, antiscorbutic vitamin has variously been known as "hexuronic acid", "cevitamic
acid", "cevalin", and "cebione". However , the present name given to it because of its anti-scurvy properties by Haworth and Szent-Gyorgyi, "1-ascorbic acid" , will apparently survive as its chemical name, particularly since that name has been adopted by the American Chemical Society, the American Medical Association, and the U.S.P.
