It is my purpose in this paper to study the correlation between the results secured from the Army Alpha Intelligence test and the Star Mirror Stability test. I recognise the fact that intelligence is the most important factor in human conduct and therefore do not want to discount any reliable, objective intelligence test. It is admitted by most educators that there are other important factors in human conduct. Thorndike stated, "stability has a great weight in mentality". Nebraska Agricultural Experiment Station: Historical Circulars

The tuberculosis of swine constitutes a definite and very interesting section of the general problem of the tuberculoses of warm-blooded animals. No one section of this general tuberculosis problem can be adequately solved without regard to all the other sections into which it may be divided. The disease in swine is perhaps the most outstanding example which illustrates this point. This animal, extremely susceptible to tuberculous disease, but without a type of infection specifically its own, derives its infection by contact with any of the types of tuberculosis of warm-blooded animals.

Nebraska Agricultural Experiment Station: Historical Research Bulletins

The great increase in the number of swine found to be tuberculous presented a problem, the solution of which appeared to be desirable before adequate control measures could be devised or recommended. In the hope that a solution of the problem may be found this station undertook an investigation and attempted by experimental inquiry to determine the infection type of the tuberculosis associated with the animals which constituted the bulk of the retentions. It seems especially appropriate at this time to publish a history of the College of Agriculture of the University of Nebraska. The year 1922 marked the fiftieth anniversary of the formal establishment of the college by the Board of Regents, while the year 1924 marked the fiftieth anniversary of the enrollment of the first students in agricultural subjects. It is hoped and intended that this little volume shall preserve for the future much valuable material that would otherwise soon be forgotten.
