We are pleased to present this, our first annual SDSU BEEF REPORT. It is a compilation of research reports and applied information relating especially to the beef cattle industry. The papers included in this report have been prepared by SDSU research and extension scientists, not only in the Department of Animal and Range Sciences, but also in Chemistry, Economics, Dairy Science, Plant Science and Veterinary Science. Since some of the projects from which results are reported are still in progress, the preliminary nature of the results should be recognized.
