Pardosa roscai (Roewer, 1951), a spider new to the Turkish fauna, is redescribed and illustrated (male/female). The taxon was re-elevated to species rank: Pardosa cribrata roscai (Roewer, 1951) = Pardosa roscai (Roewer, 1951).

Notes On The True Bug (Heteroptera) Fauna Of Azerbaijan Province, Iran, Mohammad Ali Gharaat, Mohammad Hassanzadeh, Mohammad Hasan Safaralizadeh, Majid Fallahzadeh

Turkish Journal of Zoology

The Heteroptera fauna in east Azerbaijan and west Azerbaijan provinces in northwestern Iran was surveyed during 2005-2006. In all, 73 species from 18 families were collected and identified, of which 1 species, Mozena lunata (Burmeister, 1835) (Coreidae), is a new record for the Palearctic ecozone and 6 species are newly recorded from Iran.

This paper concerns 2 new shrimp records, Eualus sollaudi (Zariquiey Cenarro, 1935) and Palaemonella rotumana (Borradaile, 1898), found during sampling performed by scuba divers near the coast in Fethiye Bay (the eastern Mediterranean, Turkey) in June and July 2008.

New Records Of Psilophrys Parvulus And Its Host Kermes Bacciformis From Turkey, George Japoshvili, Mehmet Bora Kaydan, İsmai̇l Karaca

During 2007-2008 survey conducted on the Turkey oak (Quercus cerris) in Isparta province Psilophrys parvulus (Hymenoptera: Chalcidoidea, Encyrtidae) and its host Kermes bacciformis (Hemiptera: Coccoidea, Kermesidae) represent new species records for Turkey. Previously, P. parvulus was known only from Italy where it was first recorded. The emergence behavior of this parasitoid differs from that of most scale insect parasitoids emerging from the anal opening of its host rather than chewing a hole in the scale insect's test to emerge.

The parasitoid complex of several lepidopteran pests were studied in maize plantations in the Southeast Anatolian Region of Turkey during 2003-2004. Apenteles sp., Bracon hebetor (Say.), Chelonus oculator Panzer, Meteorus rubens Nees (Hym.: Braconidae), Conomorium patulum Walk. (Hym.: Pteromalidae), Diadegma crassicornis (Gray.) subsp. africator Aubert (Hym.: Ichneumonidae), Euplectrus sp. (Hym.: Eulophidae), Exorista larvarum (Linnaeus), E. xanthaspis (Wiedemann) Gonia bimaculata Wiedemann, Drino imberbis (Wiedemann), Pseudogonia rufifrons (Wiedemann), and Linnaemya neavei Curran (Dip.: Tachinidae) were reared from field-collected larvae.
