These meeting minutes list individuals in attendance and missing from the December 9, 2014 Oregon Wine Board (OWB) meeting, held at the Aquariva Restaurant in Portland, Oregon. The meeting included reports from the finance, marketing/communications, and education committees, as well as a discussion of Board governance. The Board went into Executive Session for approximately 30 minutes; upon reconvening, the Board reviewed viticulture and enology research. The meeting lasted 3 hours 24 minutes (including the time spent in Executive Session).

Bosnia-Herzegovina (B-H) remains one of the most underdeveloped countries on the European Continent yet it holds great potential as a tourist destination for outdoor adventurers, history enthusiasts, and now, wine connoisseurs. The southern part of this merged nation has always been an area of wine production, but the industry has been slow to develop into a net exporter of its wines. The tasting was a blind comparison of the 1983 Pinot Noir vintages from Burgundy, France and Oregon, U.S.A. This harvest report for the Oregon wine industry from 2014 explains how growers and winemakers experienced a nearly perfect season, resulting in exceptional quality and high yields for much of the state. Some sites were impacted by a freeze in December of 2013, however, which resulted in some vine and bud damage in select areas. The record for heat accumulation during the 2014 growing season was broken due to higher than normal overnight temperatures throughout the year.
