This harvest report for the Oregon wine industry from 2010 describes a vintage with high-quality fruit and lower yields. Warm and dry conditions late in the growing season allowed advanced ripening resulting in full flavor development, lower brix levels, great acidity, and potentially lower alcohol levels.

This project examines how Oregon winemakers present themselves to the media and their consumers, and whether or not their portrayal is received correctly by these sources. This research focuses mainly on what message producers convey to the media and how that, in turn, reaches consumers, while focusing more specifically on Oregon winemakers. The goals for this project are to further agenda-setting research in regards to consumer products and to advance the meaningfulness of mass communication and public relations.

This statewide survey report on vineyards and wineries in Oregon covers bearing and nonbearing acres, size of vineyard operation, variety and county, size distribution, prices, yields, crush, inventory, and sales. The report also contains some comparisons of data for 2007, 2008, and 2009. According to this report, the average prices of wine grapes in the state decreased for the first time since 2002.
