This study attempts to address that in search of a just new world order in the global finance what should be the proper national, regional, and international responses to the global financial integration. At first glance, it analyzes the globalization of finance. The impact of globalization on state sovereignty is also demonstrated. In this regard, this study seeks to reconceptualize the traditional notion of state sovereignty. A Comparable Cross-System Bank Productivity Measure: Empirical Evidence From The Malaysian Dual Banking System, Valli B. Batchelor

This thesis seeks to fill a void in the banking performance literature by (1) proposing a cross-system bank productivity assessment methodology that can be applied to both conventional and Islamic banking and (2) implementing this methodology on a dual banking system to gauge the comparable productivity of Islamic and conventional banks relative to one another in a banking system that has experienced deregulation and consolidation.
