Nishihara Acceleration Model-Based Experiment Of Creep Characteristics Of Coal, Qu Lina, Li Bo

Coal Geology & Exploration

For conquering limitation that the traditional Nishihara model cannot describe the accelerated creep characteristics of coal body, according to the visco-elastic-plastic flow characteristics of coal in the accelerated creep stage, a nonlinear visco-elastic-plastic model was used to replace the ideal viscoelastic-plastic body in Nishihara model to establish the improved Nishihara acceleration model. And creep equation of the improved model under equal confining pressure triaxial condition was also deduced. Afterwards, the improved accelerated creep model was analyzed by the creep test data of coal specimens in the triaxial creep tests using the method of model identification. In this paper, based on the geothermal geological conditions in Xi'an, the numerical method was used to calculate the heat transfer of a medium-deep geothermal single well with different well structures (L-shaped directional wells and cluster directional wells) under the scenario of continuous operation of a heating season. The …

Coal Geology & Exploration

Magnetic field data of controlled source audio magnetotelluric method(CSAMT) is vulnerable to electromagnetic interference, and will lead to serious degradation of phase data quality. The affected phase data are corrected by referring to the high quality phase data of adjacent measuring points and combining the least squares fitting and interpolation method. Through forward simulation analysis, it is found that cubic polynomial interpolation is effective, not only can restore the variation characteristics of phase curve more accurately, but also involve the corrected phase data in the inversion calculation, so that the inversion results are more accurate and reliable. The method is …

150 Years Since The Development Of The Periodic System Of Chemical Elements By D.I. Mendeleev, Yu. Ts. Oganesyan, Yu. E. Penionzhkevich

Eurasian Journal of Physics and Functional Materials

The year 2019 has been declared by UNESCO as the year of the Periodic Table of Elements. 150 years ago, an outstanding Russian scientist D.I. Mendeleev systematized the chemical elements known at that time by chemical properties and created a table of elements. Since then, almost 60 chemical elements have been added to those known 150 years ago. Now the table has 118 chemical elements, most of which were synthesized artificially, in particular, on charged particle accelerators. Especially vigorous growth in the synthesis and research of new heavy transfermium elements was observed during the last 20 years, when about 20 …

Eurasian Journal of Physics and Functional Materials

The paper presents the results of a study of the influence of copper phthalocyanine (CuPc) nanostructures on the generation and transfer of charge carriers in the photoactive P3HT/PCBM layer. It was shown that the observed broadening and the shift in the maxima of the absorption spectra of P3HT/PCBM upon the addition of nanostructures to the polymer are associated with an increase in the degree of crystallization of the film. Using the method of impedance spectroscopy, it was found that CuPc nanostructures enhance the rate of recombination of charge carriers, which is probably due to the formation of surface defects. These …

Numerical Analysis Of Deep-Water Pipeline Abandonment And Recovery, Pan Gao, Bo-Wen Jin, Ji Zeng, Yi-Ting Zhan, Hui Zhou

Journal of Marine Science and Technology

Pipeline abandonment and recovery (A&R) is of great importance in offshore pipeline installation. A mathematical model of the A&R process is proposed based on the large deflection beam theory. To solve the model, an iteration process is adopted. The initial guess of the solution is obtained through the two-catenary approach, which significantly accelerates the iteration. A moving boundary technique is used to solve the governing equation of the suspended pipeline. With the proposed approach, the effects of the dominant parameters in the A&R process are studied. The cable length increases, and the maximum bending moment decreases, as the vessel moves …

Journal of Marine Science and Technology

The fast Fourier transform (FFT) has been accepted as a tool for signal processing. This study conducted a series of numerical experiments using Matlab. By conducting FFT analysis on designated wave trains, the FFT results revealed that an extra phase shift of ሺ2 ⁄ ሻ , with N representing the number of data points for an i-th wave component, was implicitly added to the analyzed phases during the analysis. When extra phase shifts were subtracted from the analyzed phases of each component, signals could be completely reconstructed in the time domain with an acceptable difference. This study tested component and …
