If a clear-cut relationship between weather phenomena and human behavior could be established, the case for controlled atmosphere in industry, commerce, and education would be strengthened. In the area of education, classroom procedures and learning tasks could be varied in accordance with the weather. This dimension could provide for insights into misbehavior and might enable school personnel to deal with such misbehavior more effectively.

This study used the II:PPS and the AVLSV to test seven hypotheses. These hypotheses asked if there was significant difference at the .05 level as measured by the "t" test between experienced teachers of special education and incoming prospective teachers of special education, of experienced teachers of special education and graduating prospective teachers of special education, and of experienced teachers of special education and the college normal samples as published by the test manual. The basic proposition that systematic associations exist between vocational aspirations and vocational values was amply supported by this investigation. Fundamental dimensions, syntheses of various of these associations, were found to describe and to differentiate between basic types of vocational identity. A model, also formulated as a synthesis of several findings, revealed a generalized pattern of relationships among vocational fields.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of sensory modality training on institutionalized mentally re­tarded adolescents. The primary investigation concerned the effect on retardates of sensory modality training with an op­portunity for learning when compared to the effect on a compa­rable group given the same training with no opportunity for learning. A survey was made of the graduates of an educationally-oriented church-sponsored foster home placement agency. The subjects for the study had been graduated from high schools in Idaho, Arizona, Canada, and throughout Utah. There were 235 students graduated during the period 1954-1967. The survey of these subjects was made by the use of the mailed questionnaire method. Responses were received from 165 (70.21 percent) of the subjects.
