Many students have an operational view of the equals sign. This conception is seen as a misconceptions. This study aims to investigate the extent to which students have misconceptions about equality, where the equal sign is the focus. This research is a descriptive qualitative research with a case study approach. A total of 35 students in the city of Bandung became participants in this study. The results of the study reported that there were several misconceptions such as closing, using all numbers in the equation, string operations, and “pindah ruas”.

This study attempts to investigate EFL teachers’ strategies in motivating low-achieving learners in online classes from the perspective of twenty-five English teachers and thirty low-achieving learners. The data were collected through a questionnaire and a semi-structured interview. The result of the study revealed that there were some foremost motivational teaching strategies applied by EFL teachers to deal with low-achieving learners during online classes; monitoring students’ activities, showing the importance of English, clarifying difficult topics, caring about students’ learning progress, and explaining topics clearly and specifically.

The objective of this research is to investigate variances in the patterns of the correlation between academic motivation, procrastination, and GPA among students from different universities in Surabaya. This research was conducted using a correlational method involving 1,060 students from four years: 2017, 2018, 2019, and 2020 (n respectively 209, 187, 232, 432). The sampling method was accidental random sampling from February to May 2021. The results showed that GPA, academic motivation, and procrastination fluctuated differently depending on the year of study. This present study seeks to discover emotional and intellectual intelligence influences on teachers’ performance in the learning-teaching processes. The method used in this study is Systematic Literature Review (SLR) using literature published between 2013 - 2022 accessed through Google Scholar. The study’s results indicate that emotional intelligence does not dominate in improving teachers’ performance in learning-teaching processes. Additionally, emotional intelligence and intellectual intelligence may or may not have an impact on teachers’ performance. In other words, factors besides intelligence can affect teachers’ performance in learning-teaching processes. This research is development research that aims to reveal the practicality level of Microsoft Sway 365-based mathematics teaching materials for sixth-grade elementary school students. For the research instruments, we used questionnaire sheets to measure students’ and teachers’ responses in terms of the practicality of the developed material. The subject of the study was a fourth-grader of SD Plus Marhamah. The results suggested 4.23 and 4.4 practicality scores from students and teachers, respectively, categorized as excellent. So it can be decided that Microsoft sway 365-based mathematics teaching materials are practical to be used for sixth-grade elementary school students.

Rhetorical studies thus far have investigated the crucial rhetorical pattern in research discussion. However, those studies have not provided sufficient analyses on Toulmin’s model as a framework to determine arguments’ quality in research discussion. This study aims to investigate the ELE undergraduates’ arguments’ quality that manifested in research discussion. The finding of the study reveals undergraduates’ tend to form almost-complete arguments that consist of four Toulmin arguments elements, namely “Claim”, ”Data”, ”Warrant”, and “Back-Up” while “Qualifier” and “Rebuttal” are missing. This study provides interpretive elaboration of overall quality of the arguments and possible factors that led two elements being disregarded.

The Covid-19 pandemic has brought about fundamental changes in providing school guidance and counseling services. The provision of services that were previously done offline, now it was changed to online. This study examines the descriptions of students' perceptions and level of satisfaction with online guidance and counseling services. The purposive sampling technique was done by surveying and sampling. A total of 246 respondents were obtained with the use of perception assessment as the instrument and CSQ-8 to measure the level of satisfaction.
