A Comparative Analysis Of Distance Learning And Traditional Classroom Learning For Mas 602, Mas 603, And Mas 605 At Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Mark C. Lyden
Master's Theses - Daytona Beach

Consideration must be given to the quality of the instruction over a distance compared to the traditional classroom method. The results of this investigation provide additional information vis-a-vis to the quality of the off-campus programs. The group for the study will be 80 traditional university students and 145 distance learning students who have participated in MAS 602, MAS 603, or MAS 605. The descriptive approach was used to investigate this problem. Test and assignment scores of the two groups were examined …

Twenty-five years in the life of a university is a short period of time. Yet, in its first twenty-five years, Nova University has been able to respond to major changes in American society. After Sputnik was launched in 1957, our government and our educational system placed a high priority on science and technology. President Kennedy declared that we would place a man on the moon within a decade.
Nova University of Advanced Technology was conceived in response to the national agenda. In the mid-1960s, President Johnson launched the Great Society, which began to take effect in the late 1960s …

Continuing Education At Purdue University: The First Hundred Years (1874–1974), Frank K. Burrin
Continuing Education

Unfortunately, his project was left incomplete at his death. Fortunately, his friends and colleagues at the university were unwilling to let his dream die with him. The present monograph is the result of their concern.
The fragmentary nature of the surviving manuscript made it impossible either to reconstruct Dr. Burrin's original plan for the organization …
