The study aimed to explore the impact of digital transformation on organisational culture and employee readiness within Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region. Conducted in 2024, it involved research that used a sample of employees and administrators from various universities across the region. Structured questionnaires served as data collection tools, allowing for an in-depth evaluation of the different dimensions of digital transformation. This study primarily utilises secondary data analysis, which involves examining data from existing studies, reports, and scholarly articles. هدفت الدراسة الكشف عن العلاقة بين سلبيات استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي على طلبة كلية التربية الرياضية في جامعة اليرموك ودور الأنشطة الرياضية في الحد منها، تم استخدام المنهج الوصفي الارتباطي، من خلال تطبيق أداة الدراسة (الاستبانة) على عينة مكونة (323) طالباً وطالبة. أظهرت النتائج عن وجود علاقة ارتباطيه عكسية الاتجاه بين الاستخدام السلبي لوسائل التواصل الاجتماعي وبين ممارسة الأنشطة الرياضية، وأن استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي لها اثأر سلبية على النواحي الصحية والأخلاقية والثقافية والاجتماعية والنفسية، وكشفت كذلك النتائج عن دور مهم للأنشطة الرياضية وممارستها في الحد وحماية الإفراد من سلبيات استخدام وسائل التواصل الاجتماعي. وأوصت الدراسة بعقد الندوات والمحاضرات التي …

The study aimed to identify the effectiveness of the EPER program and in sight of the job satisfaction of teachers in the schools of the UNRWA/ Jordan Field. The study population consisted of (4049) male and female teachers, a sample of (533) teachers were selected in the region (North Amman, South Amman, Irbid, Zarqa). The researchers followed the descriptive correlative approach. A questionnaire was developed consisting of (38) items to measure the effectiveness of the EPER program, distributed over four areas, and (25) items for the job satisfaction tool.

هدفت الدراسة الحالية إلى تعرف العلاقة بين خبرات الإساءة في الطفولة وعلاقتها بصورة الجسم لدى طالبات قسم علم النفس بجامعة الإمام محمد بن سعود الإسلامية، وذلك لدى عينة مكونة من (220) طالبة. ولتحقيق أهداف الدراسة استخدمت الباحثة: استمارة البيانات الأولية، واستبانة صدمة الطفولة، ومقياس تقييم المظهر. وقد أظهرت النتائج وجود علاقة ارتباطية سالبة بين خبرات الإساءة في الطفولة وصورة الجسم لدى طالبات قسم علم النفس, كذلك تبين أن الإساءة في الطفولة لها تأثير على صورة الجسم بمعنى إمكانية التنبؤ بصورة الجسم من خلال الإساءة في الطفولة. كما أظهرت النتائج عدم وجود فروق دالة احصائياً في متوسطات درجات صورة الجسم …

Social media, Twitter in particular, have been a tool used by politicians to voice their thoughts and make a stand. Political figures sometimes use social media, including Twitter, as an instrument to distort the face of their rivals by employing linguistic impoliteness. The present study aims to analyze some of President Donald Trump’s impolite tweets. Methodologically, Brown and Levinson’s (1987) model of politeness is taken as the main reference of understanding and explaining the face-threatening acts that target the addressee’s face, and Culpeper’s (1996) framework to classify impoliteness strategies.
