The self-study is beneficial not only for the purpose of reaccreditation but also can better inform the school’s strategic planning process
To assist in providing the self-study relevant data, the Martin School can solicit information from its alumni. Alumni data can be used to establish how well the …

Examining Alumni Perceptions Of Social And Cultural Capital Accumulation Through Ursinus’S Summer Fellows Program, Sydney Dickson
Examining Alumni Perceptions Of Social And Cultural Capital Accumulation Through Ursinus’S Summer Fellows Program, Sydney Dickson
Anthropology Honors Papers
A common offering among undergraduate institutions is an intensive summer research program, which allows students to complete a project independently without any other academic obligations. These programs are designed to foster useful skills, valuable relationships, and scholarly work. Ursinus College, a small liberal arts college in Pennsylvania, has such a program: Summer Fellows. With colleges attempting to appeal to a decreasing number of high-achieving applicants, student desire to pursue intellectual interests, and employers looking for skilled job candidates, it is worthwhile to examine the perceived efficacy of this program. History Mysteries: Crowdsourcing To Involve Alumni With Swosu's Institutional Repository, Phillip Fitzsimmons, April Miller
Faculty Articles & Research
Crowdsourcing is the strategy Southwestern Oklahoma State University Libraries is using to fill in the gaps for many unidentified images in the SWOSU Digital Commons (https://dc.swosu.edu/). A photo gallery was created of some of the repository's unidentified images of persons, events and activities. An intriguing title - "History Mysteries" - was chosen to attract attention, and the page requested help from the public in identifying the unnamed items in the photographs. SWOSU Libraries began promoting the page during he SWOSU Homecoming in 2016, which was the 20th anniversary of winning the NAIA Football Championship. The increased number of alumni visiting …
