The University of Maine 1946-47 basketball squad will play a total of 17 games this year. This is one of the largest number of games that has ever been played by a Maine basketball team. George E. "Eck" Allen resumes his position as head coach of the squad. He will be assisted by Bill Kenyon, veteran member of the coaching staff at Maine and head coach of the baseball nine.
