Existing Drosophila exercise models only distinguish between regular and endurance exercise based on behavioral traits and have not yet established an exercise physiology classification system based on metabolic traits, which restricts the depth of application of this model organism in exercise physiology research. A High-fat diet (HFD) has been shown to cause myocardial lipotoxicity and thus cardiac dysfunction in Drosophila, but the underlying mechanisms and intervention strategies are unclear. Insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) (Drosophila Dilp6 homologue) plays an important role in adipocyte differentiation, insulin sensitivity. To investigate the effect of unilateral compound training on lower limb explosive strength in sprint athletes, with the aim of improving athletic performance. Participants were selected from sprint athletes at Beijing Sport University and randomly assigned to either the unilateral compound training group or the bilateral compound training group.
