Relationship Between Reflective Thinking And Teaching Performance Of Student Teachers Specialized In, Khalid Ahmad Buqhoos

This study aimed at identifying the level of reflective thinking reached by student teachers majoring in mathematics and science who are enrolled in practice teaching. In addition, it aimed at determining the relationship between reflective thinking and each of: teaching performance, student’s GPA, university level and teaching competencies. The descriptive analytical approach was followed for achieving the aims of this study and answering its research questions. Two instruments were used for collecting the needed data. This study examined level of democratic practices among Health Faculty from students’ perspective in Northern Border University. In addition, the study aimed at uncovering the significant statistical differences in level of democratic educational among Health Faculty from students’ perspective in Northern Border University based on the gender variable, the faculty and grade. The study used the descriptive analytical methodology. A questionnaire has been conducted on (226) students (males and females), and its validity and reliability have been assured. The ability to write is vital in many academic areas (U.S. Department of Education, 2011). Roughly 70 percent of U. S. students in a representative sampling during 2010 (grades 8 and 12) scored only at the Basic (fractional grasp of prerequisite information and abilities) level and below (U.S. Department of Education, 2011).

The unique characteristics and needs of artistically talented students were explored. World history students at the Douglas Anderson School of the Arts were used as a test group for the utilization of a variety of art forms in teaching world history. Lesson plans using art media for each unit of study in world history were constructed. Students responded to each lesson by completing an attitude survey. The conclusion was that the use of a variety of art in world history increased student interest and motivation. The increased student motivation resulted in a failure rate of approximately 5%, significantly lower than …
