Critical media literacy needs to be seen as a central component of language teacher education, especially in the postdigital age. One underexplored dimension, however, is digital assessment literacy and in particular digital feedback literacy (Schluer, 2022a). Even though recent years witnessed a proliferation of digital technologies for feedback exchanges, pedagogical guidance for the use of digital feedback remains almost non-existent (but see Schluer, 2022a; 2023; 2024a). This study aims to identify the need for the development of Augmented Reality (AR)-based learning media as an innovative solution in elementary school learning. The needs analysis method was conducted using a mixed methods approach through questionnaires and interviews with 103 students and 5 teachers. The data were analyzed descriptively and quantitatively to obtain a comprehensive picture of instructional needs. The results showed that student needs were in the high category, with a percentage of 80.64%-85.30%. The socio-cultural aspect was the highest need (85.30%), followed by the pedagogical and technical aspects, while the cognitive aspect had the lowest value (80.64%). …

The study focuses on two objectives: the first objective is to describe the plant folk taxonomy in Chasu and the second objective is to determine the relationship between noun classes and plant folk taxonomy in Chasu. The integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly Large Language Models (LLMs), into educational practices has become increasingly relevant, influencing pre-service teachers' preparedness and engagement. This study examines the readiness and concerns of pre-service teachers in adopting AI-LLMs for teaching, filling a gap in literature on AI's role in teacher education. Using a cross-tabulation analysis of survey data from 685 respondents across different educational majors and academic levels, the study highlights variations in AI adoption, familiarity, and ethical considerations. This paper explores strategies for teachers to use in prompting ChatGPT-4 to develop diverse history lesson plans for the Cold War Space Race. Prior research showed that when given a single, broadly phrased “design a lesson plan” prompt, chatbots are less likely to generate material about experiences of African Americans, women, and other historically marginalized groups. This study investigates the ethical implications of artificial intelligence (AI) in K-12 education, focusing on how explicit instruction influences students' perceptions of AI tools like ChatGPT. Conducted with 80 sixth-grade students at A.D. Henderson University School and FAU High School, the research tracks changes in student understanding and skepticism of AI following a World History unit. Pre- and post-instruction surveys revealed a decline in comfort with AI as students became more aware of its ethical concerns, including plagiarism, bias, and misinformation. The findings suggest integrating AI ethics into the middle school curriculum to foster responsible AI usage among students.

This qualitative case study investigates faculty perspectives on artificial intelligence (AI) integration within a private university context, examining pedagogical, administrative, and ethical implications. Data collected through semi-structured interviews with faculty across four disciplines revealed ambivalent yet cautiously optimistic attitudes. Participants acknowledged AI’s potential to enhance personalized learning and reduce bureaucratic burdens through automation. However, three critical barriers emerged: (1) insufficient institutional technological infrastructure, (2) lack of systematic faculty training programs, and (3) unresolved ethical dilemmas surrounding data privacy, algorithmic bias, and academic integrity. Матричная таблица форм глаголов звучания рассматривается как инновационный лексикографический инструмент, обладающий способностью не только фиксировать уже существующие единицы, но и выявлять потенциальные формы глаголов, находящиеся за пределами кодификационных норм. Работа направлена на описание структуры, принципов построения и способов наполнения данной таблицы. Проводится сопоставление с традиционными лексикографическими источниками. Особое внимание уделяется семантическому значению незаполненных ячеек, способности таблицы к синтезу новых форм и её потенциалу как прогностического инструмента в сфере лексики, словообразования и словообразовательного синтеза.
