An investigation of the effectiveness of an asynchronous accelerated online instructional program was conducted by surveying the graduate student perceptions of a master’s educational leadership degree leading to principal certification. The research design used a mixed-method approach, using surveys and focus student group interviews to determine graduate student satisfaction with the online methodology. The study included a sample population of former and current graduate students in the program. This study focused on the role of academic coaches in supporting graduate students in an accelerated online program. The strategy of experiencing AI is centered around AI exploration and reflection in a doctoral-level technology course. Throughout the course, students were encouraged to use AI to complete assignments. However, they were also asked to critically reflect on the impact of AI use on their academic development and understanding of the coursework. Through discussion, reflection, and exploration, students learned to navigate the complexities of AI in a way that aligns with academic values and professional expectations.

Male superintendents predominantly hold superintendency in K–12 public school districts in the southern United States. The research problem was the underrepresentation of female superintendents in K–12 public school districts. The purpose of this qualitative study was to explore how female superintendents perceive the underrepresentation of females holding superintendent positions and recommendations on how to secure the position in K–12 public school districts. The conceptual framework was the congruity theory of Eagly and Karau, which posits that aspiring female K–12 school principals willing to serve the school districts in the role of superintendent are perceived as less suitable for leadership positions …

The current study investigated the challenges that undocumented and DACA recipient Latine students in Arkansas face and how they navigate their challenges. Furthermore, the study analyzed the ways in which the challenges and navigation methods influenced the student’s sense of belonging and academic performance. The current study provides support to higher education administration who have previously lacked empirical research to aid in guiding their services provide to Latine DACA and undocumented students. Adverse childhood experiences (ACEs) are prevalent among all demographic characteristics, however, higher rates of adversities occur in vulnerable populations such as females, children, young adults, minorities, and multiracial individuals. This exploratory qualitative study aimed (a) to investigate the impact adverse childhood experiences have on diagnoses such as ADHD, ED, or ODD and (b) to explore the effects of ACEs on elementary school-aged children. The multitiered system of supports has emerged as a prominent intervention framework with which to equip educators for this task. This qualitative narrative study explored the perceptions of public-school general education teachers on the training they received for referring students to special education. Two key aspects of this were investigated: (1) navigating the special education referral process, and (2) using individualized interventions that are effective with African American male students. The problem addressed in this study is the overidentification of African American male students in special education. This causes concern in the educational community, as students misidentified often suffer unintended consequences such as segregated learning environments, low expectations, and fewer post-secondary opportunities. This qualitative case study sought to analyze and describe both the quantity and quality of African American history curriculum integration into Virginia's U.S. History curriculum standards at three points in time (2008 standards, 2015 standards, and revised 2020 standards) in the three U.S. history courses (USI, 5th, USII, 6th, VUS, 11th). Objective: The purpose of the study was to clarify, through the lenses of experts and frontline publishers, ethical dilemmas related to the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in research writing.

Method: We conducted a rapid review of expert opinions and publishers’ policy statements on ethical considerations in using AI for research writing. We included articles published in journals indexed by academic databases that met the criteria. We also included the policy statements and guidelines of seven reputable publishers.

Result: The use of AI in scientific writing is acceptable, contingent on addressing ethical considerations bordering on plagiarism, transparency, and disclosure. While …

Despite the adaptive strengths and unique problem-solving skills demonstrated by neurodivergent (ND) individuals, they remain underrepresented in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) fields. High unemployment rates among individuals with disabilities emphasize the need for addressing barriers to entry and persistence in the workforce. This study introduces a program designed to enhance opportunities for neurodivergent STEM scholars with financial needs, supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF). • To better support a healthy teacher workforce, it is crucial to understand their job satisfaction, stress, and intentions to leave the profession.
• While most Arkansas teachers (86%) report being satisfied being an educator, we identify several potential areas for improvement.
• Teachers report that managing student behavior is their primary source of stress.
• Thirteen percent (13%) of teachers reported they plan to leave their current school.
• When asked why they were considering leaving their current school, teachers reported feeling unsupported, lacking influence over school policies, and insufficient planning time.
