Internal Medline data for Hospital A, a level I academic trauma center, identified a quality gap due to improper segregation and underutilization of orthopedic single-use device reprocessing bins. The baseline reprocessing rate of 4% for orthopedic products results in missed sustainability opportunities, financial strain, and increased regulated waste. A proposed quality improvement intervention implemented updated communication strategies, visual management tools, and education modules to reinforce current reprocessing workflows and close knowledge gaps. The purpose of this quantitative survey study was to investigate the relationship between voucher dependency and tuition-setting practices among leaders of private K-12 schools in Florida with fewer than 500 students. Guided by resource dependence theory, the study examined school leaders’ perceptions of scholarship funding, tuition income, affordability, sustainability, timing, and flexibility in tuition-setting decisions, as well as the adequacy of current scholarship amounts. Threat assessment is an effective school safety practice that allows schools to identify concerning behavior and intervene before it reaches a crisis. Because this process often begins with a staff member recognizing and reporting a concern, this study examined how school staff interpret concerning behavior, understand their responsibility to report it, and what can make reporting more difficult.

The study used a two-phase action research design in a small, rural public school district in western New York. The first phase used a survey built around five behavior vignettes, while the second phase consisted of staff interviews.

This literature review examined how educational leaders can implement culturally responsive practices to support multilingual learners, improve academic achievement, encourage a sense of belonging, and advance equitable educational outcomes. A total of sixteen qualitative, quantitative, and mixed-methods studies were reviewed, along with two conceptual studies that provided additional guidance. Three recurring themes emerged: culturally and linguistically responsive practices, professional development, and Multi-Tiered Systems of Supports (MTSS). The research suggested that multilingual learners were best supported when educators viewed students’ languages, cultures, identities, and lived experiences as academic assets and integrated these resources into instruction. This paper examined how restorative practices may promote resilience among trauma-impacted elementary school students. Fifteen peer-reviewed studies were analyzed to address the following research question: How do restorative practices promote resilience among trauma-impacted students in elementary schools? Three consistent themes emerged from the literature: relationship building and relational safety, school connectedness and belonging, and emotional regulation and co-regulation. These themes represent crucial protective factors associated with resilience among children who have experienced trauma. This narrative qualitative study utilized interviews and observations to extract data from each of the 15 total participants across 9 suburban New Jersey public school districts. The primary purpose of this study was to examine the well-being of California school board members. Using an adapted Workplace PERMA-Profiler, a quasi-experimental study was conducted with 144 school board members to investigate the study's research questions. Pearson correlation analyses and hierarchical multiple regression were used to examine the relationships between overall well-being and the Workplace PERMA-Profiler domains. Differences in overall well-being and PERMA domain scores across age groups and years of service were examined using one-way analyses of variance with Tukey HSD post hoc comparisons.
