Electronic medical record systems (EMRs) were quickly adopted by ambulatory care practices due to federal government programs encouraging their rapid adoption and implementation. The accelerated implementation and adoption of these digital care systems introduced new forms of administrative burdens that have become negatively associated with the practice of medicine. Research regarding the challenges related to implementing and adopting EMR systems has been abundant. However, there is little research on EMR optimization strategies within ambulatory practice settings. The Relationships Among Locus Of Control, The Impostor Phenomenon, And Math Anxiety In Business Majors, Tiffany L. S. Tovey, Stephanie Kelly, Wiley Brown
International Journal for Business Education
The importance of quantitative literacy in business education cannot be overstated. A barrier to enhancing quantitative skills for many business majors is their math anxiety, an angst some individuals experience when working with numbers. This study explored the relationship between math anxiety, locus of control, and impostor phenomenon in business students. 220 business students (undergraduate and graduate) from a two moderately sized southeastern universities in the United States participated in an online survey that assessed these three phenomena. A linear regression was run to understand the relationships among the variables. The results indicated that more than one fifth of math …

This ability to care, or to lead with passion, has increasingly been identified as a quality of today’s leaders and has been cited as an essential condition precedent for successful organizations (Duckworth, 2018; Love, 2012; Collins, 2001). Understanding the role of passion in in building strong relationships has practical benefits for both leaders and followers. Abusive Supervision Within The Military Ranks: A Qualitative Examination Of Positive Emotion-Focused Coping Strategies, Demetrius Mcdew

In this study, the researcher examined abusive supervision coping by military members. Based on social exchange theory and the power and influence theory, the researcher investigated whether veterans perceived emotional coping (avoidance, support seeking, and reframing) as strategies that mitigated stress caused by abusive supervision while they were serving in their respective military departments. Past studies have not accounted for junior officers or enlisted members; therefore, the researcher studied this lower ranking tier of personnel and discovered that the hierarchy of the military system affected their reporting of and receiving assistance in dealing with abusive supervision. The objective of this project is to create a model of and mechanism for statewide, systematic data collection to support workforce development pathways for P-20 students in rural Maine to ensure the long-term vitality and success of these communities. Businesses, as sites of financial and social capital development, can be more thoughtfully calibrated to local workforce needs in these communities.
