This descriptive study examines Teachers of the Deafs’ (TODs) self-reported assessment knowledge, classroom practices, and preparation experiences. Using a survey based on the Pedagogical Content Knowledge (PKC) framework, we collected data from 89 certified TODs across the United States. Results indicate that while TODs understand the importance of assessment, many report inadequate preparation from their teacher training programs and rely primarily on on-the-job learning. Participants expressed concerns about the limited availability of appropriate assessments for Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) students and challenges in adapting existing assessment tools. This quantitative ex-post facto study examined patterns of career advising utilization at a large, R1 public university in the southeastern region of the United States. Institutional advising data from the 2023–24 advising year was utilized to identify usage patterns across different demographics such as college affiliation and academic level. The descriptive stats from the archival data were used to measure topic distributions, undergraduate–graduate usage by college, and contact engagement. The sample size included over 35,000 students with 10 different college affiliation labels. Significant differences across advising usage in the different colleges were found during the study. Automated writing evaluation (AWE) has long supported assessment and instruction, yet existing systems struggle to capture deeper rhetorical and pedagogical aspects of student writing. Recent advances in generative language models (GLMs) such as GPT and Llama present new opportunities, but their effectiveness remains uncertain. This review synthesizes 29 studies on automated essay scoring and 14 on automated writing feedback generation, examining how GLMs are applied through prompting, fine-tuning, and adaptation. Findings show GLMs can approximate human scoring and deliver richer, rubric-aligned feedback, but fairness, validity, and ethical issues remain largely unaddressed. Current practices in K-12 teacher evaluation look to mechanize the evaluation model, and effectuate better teaching by enforcing compliance to the evaluation model. This practice treats teachers as disseminators of instructional practice and thereby of information to students which dehumanizes teachers. The following research takes a different approach to understanding teacher evaluation by working away from fixing the evaluation model by replacing it with another model. This research investigated the perspectives of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students on their experiences with group work (GW) in both online and offline environments. The results indicated that most students who participated in GW in both settings held a positive perception. Implementing a Collaborative Learning (CL) approach can enhance students’ self-confidence, motivation, engagement in a studentcentered environment, and sense of responsibility. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi tingkat adopsi Artificial Intelligence (AI) di kalangan dosen Universitas Terbuka (UT) menggunakan pendekatan mix method dengan analisis deskriptif. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh dosen UT, dengan 172 responden yang dipilih berdasarkan kesediaan berpartisipasi. Mengacu pada teori Diffusion of Innovations dari Rogers (2003), dosen dikelompokkan dalam kategori Innovators, Early Adopters, Early Majority, Late Majority, dan Laggards berdasarkan skor adoption rate. In this study, we present evidence for the validity of a shortened form of the Quantitative Reasoning for College Science (QuaRCS) Assessment, a validated instrument assessing the numeracy and math-related affect of undergraduate students in general education/introductory science courses. Previously published analyses of QuaRCS data revealed that 1) roughly 30% of students found the assessment boring, leading to lower self-reported effort and 2) affective factors (e.g. numerical self-efficacy) were significant predictors of QuaRCS score. This study investigated cohort-based Ed.D. students’ perceptions and preferences related to deficit and asset-based instructor feedback. The researchers collected data from 28 current Ed.D. students through a survey based on Henderson et al.'s (2016) Feedback for Learning questions. While students generally perceived feedback as asset-focused, they expressed a need for more growth-oriented, individualized responses. Additionally, male participants significantly perceived more asset-based feedback than females, suggesting that demographic alignment between instructors and students may influence perceptions around feedback. This study evaluates the impact (effectiveness and outcome) of project-based vocational learning program in Electrical Power Installation programs (TITL) at vocational schools in Tangerang, Indonesia. Using the Goal Free Evaluation model and a mixed-methods approach, quantitatively, the study found that 93,93% of the program ran well. It identified 33 positive impacts that matched the program's goals, 2 negative impacts, and 6 unexpected positive outcomes for students such as curiosity, confidence, safety awareness, entrepreneurship, responsibility, and honesty.
