Design science research (DSR) generates knowledge that informs problem-solving and has emerged as a viable research paradigm in Information Systems doctoral research. Doctoral research students are, however, confused by the number of options available when selecting an appropriate literature review method for design science research. To inform the selection of an appropriate literature review method, we analyzed the literature review types from 35 design science theses and dissertations in Information Systems. Financial stress is a pervasive concern among medical students, with documented associations with adverse physical health, psychological morbidity, and ineffective coping. This study focuses on understanding the financial stressors female medical students face and the coping strategies they employ. While financial stress and coping mechanisms have been explored in the literature, a notable gap exists in understanding these dynamics among female students.

Cooperative learning strategies are effective in raising student achievement in higher education settings. Positive evidence of the importance of small group structures are found in an in-depth literature review and summary of multiple key studies. The research found six features and benefits to be present in effective cooperative learning methodology for learners: positive interdependence, individual accountability, various leadership skills, information retention, identification of group facilitation techniques, and development of social skills.

Trainings exist that can help individuals respond more confidently in the event of an active shooter incident on campus.
