In pursuit of sustainable resource utilization on the Moon, this paper delves into modeling and characterization of particle size distribution (PSD) of lunar regolith simulants in an electrostatic system. A prototype electrostatic sieve was built and tested with four sample simulants mirroring properties of lunar mare and highland regolith. An alternating four-phase (90 degrees, 180 degrees, 270 degrees, 360 degrees) traveling square-wave was utilized for particle-directed transport to model the diverse trajectories of the particles. Recommended action involves the development and implementation of a coordinated strategy for engaging both institutional accreditors and those charged with the development and modification of individual campus general education requirements regarding the importance of communication scholars and instructors as principal designers of learning goals, subsequent learning activities, and the corresponding assessment of oral communication instruction on college campuses.

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อ 1) เพื่อศึกษากรอบแนวคิดการบริหารวิชาการของโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาและกรอบแนวคิดความเป็นพลเมืองกับความยุติธรรมทางสังคม 2) เพื่อศึกษาสภาพปัจจุบันและสภาพที่พึงประสงค์และความต้องการจำเป็นในการพัฒนาการบริหารวิชาการโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาตามแนวคิดความเป็นพลเมืองกับความยุติธรรมทางสังคม 3) เพื่อพัฒนากลยุทธ์การบริหารวิชาการโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาตามแนวคิดความเป็นพลเมืองกับความยุติธรรมทางสังคม ดำเนินการวิจัยโดยใช้ระเบียบวิธีวิจัยแบบผสมวิธีพหุระยะ (Multiphase Mixed Methods Design) ใช้วิธีเก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Data) และข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณ (Quantitative Data) กลุ่มตัวอย่างที่ใช้ในการวิจัยครั้งนี้คือ โรงเรียนประถมศึกษา สังกัดสำนักงานคณะกรรมการการศึกษาขั้นพื้นฐาน 393 โรงเรียน ผู้ให้ข้อมูลคือ ผู้บริหารโรงเรียน 281 คน และครูกลุ่มบริหารวิชาการ 429 คน เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัยได้แก่ แบบสอบถามและแบบประเมิน สถิติที่ใช้ในการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลคือ ค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ย ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าดัชนีความต้องการจำเป็น และการวิเคราะห์เนื้อหาจากการสนทนากลุ่ม ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) กรอบแนวคิดการบริหารวิชาการโรงเรียนประถมศึกษา ประกอบด้วย 3 งาน คือ (1) การพัฒนาหลักสูตร (2) การจัดการเรียนรู้ และ (3) การวัดและประเมินผล กรอบแนวคิดความเป็นพลเมืองกับความยุติธรรมทางสังคม ประกอบด้วย 7 ด้าน คือ (1) สิทธิในการแสดงออกอย่างเสรีของปัจเจกบุคคล (2) สิทธิการมีกรรมสิทธิ์ในทรัพย์สิน (3) สิทธิทางการเมือง (4) สิทธิในความมั่นคงทางสังคมและได้รับบริการทางสังคม (5) ความยุติธรรมเชิงความเชื่อมโยง (6) ความยุติธรรมเชิงกระจายทรัพยากร และ(7) ความยุติธรรมเชิงวัฒนธรรม 2) สภาพปัจจุบันของการบริหารวิชาการของโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาตามแนวคิดความเป็นพลเมืองกับความยุติธรรมทางสังคม โดยภาพรวม มีค่าเฉลี่ยอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยด้านการพัฒนาหลักสูตรในสิทธิทางการเมืองมีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงที่สุด สภาพที่พึงประสงค์โดยภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยด้านการพัฒนาหลักสูตรในสิทธิทางการเมือง และสิทธิในความมั่นคงทางสังคมและได้รับบริการทางสังคมมีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงที่สุดเท่ากัน ทั้งนี้ค่าดัชนีความต้องการจำเป็นของการพัฒนาการบริหารวิชาการของโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาตามแนวคิดความเป็นพลเมืองกับความยุติธรรมทางสังคมสูงที่สุด คือ ด้านการวัดและประเมินผลในสิทธิในการแสดงออกอย่างเสรีของปัจเจกบุคคล สิทธิการมีกรรมสิทธิ์ในทรัพย์สิน และสิทธิในความมั่นคงทางสังคมและได้รับบริการทางสังคม 3) กลยุทธ์การบริหารวิชาการของโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาตามแนวคิดความเป็นพลเมืองกับความยุติธรรมทางสังคม ประกอบด้วย 3 กลยุทธ์หลัก ดังนี้ (1) พลิกโฉมการวัดและประเมินผลที่เสริมสร้างความเป็นพลเมืองกับความยุติธรรมทางสังคม ประกอบด้วย 2 กลยุทธ์รอง (2) พลิกโฉมการจัดการเรียนรู้ที่เสริมสร้างความเป็นพลเมืองกับความยุติธรรมทางสังคม ประกอบด้วย 2 …

A new kinetic particle modeling framework was developed to investigate electrostatic transport of lunar regolith particles with applications to the concept of electrostatic sieving. the new approach is based on kinetic particle dynamics and includes major modules of sampling the particle size distribution, solving electric fields, and tracking motion of charged dust grains. Case studies for a concept of electrostatic sieving were chosen to validate the new model. the simulation achieved similar yields reported in previous works, which served as validation of the model. the new model is computationally efficient and could serve as a design, analysis, and optimization tool.

Georgia Elementary Agricultural Education (EAE) was formally introduced through the 2018 Senate Bill 330 (SB33); a two-part bill passed with unanimous support in both the House & the Senate. The first part of the bill included the three-component model of school-based agricultural education for high schools and middle schools which includes classroom/laboratory instruction, supervised agricultural experience, and leadership development through the National FFA Organization. The second part of SB330 introduced an elementary agricultural education (EAE) pilot program. Since its inception, intercollegiate athletics’ conflicting existence vacillates between a history of rich, co-curricular and developmental experiences for young people, and a multi-billion-dollar industry transformed by limitless commercialization, expense and exploitation. The “professionalization” of intercollegiate athletics and blurring of motivational factors influencing participation and persistence threatens its holistic academic and developmental purpose (Duderstadt, 2000, p. 78). This paper presents a concept of producing aluminum in-situ on the lunar surface, namely, the Lunar In-Situ Aluminum Production through Molten Salt Electrolysis (LISAP-MSE) method developed at Missouri University of Science and Technology. This paper aims to demonstrate the use of electro-deoxidation to reduce aluminum oxide (i.e., alumina) into aluminum and oxygen gas via electrolysis in a molten salt bath for the production of aluminum on the Moon. It is shown that with a steady supply of hydrogen chloride, this in-situ resource utilization (ISRU) method could supply several necessary materials consumed in the electro-deoxidation process except hydrogen chloride to produce …

The purpose of this mixed methods research study was to determine the efficacy of digital learning competencies for school administrators in a rural eastern North Carolina district. The study had four research questions that were answered through a survey and a focus group. The survey had 44 quantitative items that participants chose from a 4-point Likert scale and two open-ended questions. A total of 20 administrators from District A completed the survey. This study focused on understanding special education teacher perspectives in a small, North Carolina school district, in terms of job design, as well as strategies principals use to supervise effective special education programs. Special education teachers were surveyed using Hackman and Oldham’s (1974) job diagnostic survey, which measured teacher perspectives on job design elements. Five school principals were interviewed and asked to provide insight on how they oversee their special education programs and support special education teachers. Much of the data presented about high-performing schools lack data about schools that are nontraditional; the nontraditional school, otherwise known as an alternative school or alternative learning placement, supports students who fail to thrive in the traditional school setting. The purpose of this study was to analyze the relationship between the Internet Addiction Test (IAT) score and academic performance in college students. The IAT measured the students’ addiction to the internet based upon their use. Academic performance was measured by grade point average (GPA). A sample of 692 traditional-aged college students from both public and private institutions was used to examine if IAT scores were related to and predictive of GPA. This study found a negative relationship between students’ IAT scores and GPAs. As IAT scores increased, students’ GPAs decreased. A better understanding of how internet addiction is related …

Pornography presents a unique paradox for young Christians —a culturally normative phenomenon among younger generations, yet one that most Christians morally oppose. These conflicting trends make pornography an “elephant in the room” among young Christians today—an ever-present reality, yet one often not discussed due to its sensitive nature. This work presents a recent quantitative study exploring pornography use patterns and its impact on Evangelical Christian men from both Christian academic institutions and other social and religious contexts. This phenomenological study used semi-structured interviews to understand the lived experiences and racial attitudes of White students at a Council for Christian Colleges and Universities institution as they related to Black people. The participants were asked about their past experiences with Black people, their discussions with family about race, their present understanding of terminology related to race and racism, and their desire to support racial justice in the future. Christian institutions missionally commit to educate students to be both professionally competent and capable of engaging across difference. This quantitative pilot study analyzes survey responses from graduates of two intentionally-designed Christian off-campus study programs—one located in the United States and one located abroad. A multivariate analysis of covariance reveals graduates of both programs scored comparably on professional competency and engaging difference scales. This challenges narrow approaches to researching, designing, and promoting international study abroad programs as superior arenas for developing global competency and domestic programs as primarily focused on professional development.
