High turnover in the role of school superintendent signaled functional disruption, decreased morale and impaired student achievement. The principal researcher sought to explain perceptions among professional Florida K-12 public school educators about key factors related to the role of school superintendent, necessary qualifications, important leadership skills, longevity and its impact on student achievement.

The principal researcher disseminated a 10-question online self-administered survey she developed for the study to a sample of 199 professional Florida K-12 public school educators. ปัจจุบันนวัตกรรมและเทคโนโลยีก่อให้เกิดการเปลี่ยนแปลงทางสังคมอย่างรวดเร็ว ส่งผลให้รูปแบบการสอนเปลี่ยนไป ครูจึงมีความจำเป็นที่จะต้องพัฒนาความรู้ ทักษะ เจตคติ และจัดการเรียนการสอนให้เหมาะสมกับบริบทที่เปลี่ยนแปลงไป งานวิจัยนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงบรรยายที่มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาระดับสมรรถนะและความต้องการจำเป็นของสมรรถนะการสอนแบบผสมผสาน และแนวทางการพัฒนาสมรรถนะการสอนแบบผสมผสาน ของครูโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาเอกชนในกรุงเทพมหานคร โดยมีกลุ่มตัวอย่าง คือ โรงเรียนประถมศึกษาเอกชนในกรุงเทพมหานคร จำนวน 193 แห่ง ผู้ให้ข้อมูล ได้แก่ ผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียน รองผู้อำนวยการโรงเรียน หัวหน้ากลุ่มสาระ และครูผู้สอนระดับประถมศึกษา รวมทั้งสิ้น 212 คน จากโรงเรียนทั้งหมด 66 แห่ง เก็บรวบรวมข้อมูลโดยใช้แบบประเมินและแบบสอบถาม วิเคราะห์ข้อมูลโดยการหาค่าความถี่ ค่าร้อยละ ค่าเฉลี่ยเลขคณิต ส่วนเบี่ยงเบนมาตรฐาน ค่าดัชนีความต้องการจำเป็น และการวิเคราะห์เชิงเนื้อหา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า ระดับสมรรถนะการสอนแบบผสมผสานของครูโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาเอกชนในกรุงเทพมหานครในภาพรวมอยู่ในระดับมาก โดยสมรรถนะการสอนแบบผสมผสานด้านคุณลักษณะมีค่าเฉลี่ยสูงที่สุด ส่วนด้านทักษะทางเทคนิค มีค่าเฉลี่ยต่ำที่สุด ส่วนสมรรถนะการสอนแบบผสมผสานที่มีความต้องการจำเป็นสูงที่สุด คือ ด้านทักษะทางเทคนิค รองลงมาคือ ด้านคุณลักษณะ ด้านทักษะการปรับตัว และด้านกรอบความคิด ตามลำดับ ซึ่งแนวทางการพัฒนาสมรรถนะการสอนแบบผสมผสานของครูโรงเรียนประถมศึกษาเอกชนในกรุงเทพมหานคร ประกอบด้วย 3 แนวทางหลัก 6 แนวทางย่อย 31 วิธีดำเนินการ ได้แก่ 1) เร่งรัดปรับปรุงทักษะทางเทคนิคของครู ด้านการจัดกระทำข้อมูลและการจัดการเรียนการสอนแบบผสมผสาน 2) พัฒนาคุณลักษณะของครู ด้านความโปร่งใสและการทำงานร่วมกัน และ 3) พลิกโฉมทักษะการปรับตัวของครู ด้านนวัตกรรมเทคโนโลยี การสื่อสาร และปฏิสัมพันธ์ ผลการวิจัยดังกล่าวแสดงให้เห็นถึงแนวทางของนโยบายที่ส่งเสริมความรู้และความสามารถในการใช้เทคโนโลยี เพื่อสนับสนุนการเรียนการสอนในยุคศตวรรษที่ 21

There has been extensive research conducted on students’ perceptions and understanding of hazing in fraternities and sororities (Allen & Madden, 2008; Allen & Madden, 2012; Alexander, 2018; Cokley et al., 2020). Despite preventative efforts and existing research, hazing continues to occur and continues to threaten the future of fraternity and sorority life. There is little to no research on chapter advisors’ understanding of hazing and hazing prevention in their roles. This study explores the lived experiences of administrators who led their institutions through the two-year Illinois budget impasse. This study also reviewed archival evidence of measures taken by public regional universities in Illinois to mitigate the loss of state appropriations. Previous research has shown that the business model of public higher education in the United States is undergoing disruption. Changing demographics, enrollment concerns, and rising tuition were just some of these issues pressuring public institutions of higher education. The temporary loss of state appropriations exacerbated these issues and had long-lasting effects even after the Illinois budget impasse ended. In order …

Modern universities are intricate organizations with many stakeholders each with their own goals and objectives. In a time of resource scarcity, student affairs professionals are tasked with advocating on behalf of their students, staffs, departments, and priorities against more solvent operations. Effective managers and administrators must align their priorities with other actors on campus and in accordance with institutional values. This study asked how professionals engage in the advocacy process, including the strategies that they use. Utilizing the tempered radicals perspective, this qualitative study was conducted through four interviews with experienced senior level student affairs professionals.

Leading Through Crisis: The Covid-19 Pandemic’S Impact On The School Principalship, A Delphi Study, Matthew J. Togna

This dissertation study examined the impacts of the COVID-19 Pandemic on the K-12 School Principalship and attempted to forecast the future of the principalship post-Pandemic. Using a forecasting method known as the Delphi Technique, I solicited public K-12 principals working in the Commonwealth of Virginia with at least 3 years of administrative experience to serve as participants. In total, 26 practicing principals completed three questionnaires offering their expert opinions on pre-Pandemic roles and responsibilities of the school principal and how those roles were impacted throughout the Pandemic. Heavily criticized in the 1960s, 1970s, and 1980s, many laboratory schools would close their doors for a variety of reasons. One laboratory school in particular, the Fanny Edel Falk Laboratory School, was established under a unique charter agreement between the Falk family and the University of Pittsburgh. In this paper, transformative learning theory and restorative justice practices, as well as the empirical research done to link theory to practice, are explored. This research is grounded in the previous works of Dr. P.R.Clance and uses her Clance Impostor Phenomenon Scale (CIPS) to evaluate the strength of impostor phenomenon feelings. Previous research has examined business leadership, women in leadership roles, university faculty, and students, but there is currently no research that applies specifically to higher education leadership.
