Kariolojical Stady Of Specias Genus Meristotropis Fisch. Et Mey, Hazratkul Kilichievich Karshibaev

This article discusses the results of karyological studies of two species of the genus Meristotropis Fisch. et Mey.: Razdelnaya Bukhara and Razdelnaya trouchelle, are endemic to Central Asia. The collection of materials was carried out in 2014-2017 in floodplains of Syrdarya and Kashkadarya rivers, Jizzakh steppe, South-Eastern Kyzylkum, Zaamin and Nurata plains. Karyological studies were carried out on the meristematic tissue of the tip of the root of the seeds. Pressed preparations were prepared by the method of S. G. Kaptar (1967). Identification of Key Biodiversity Areas (including Important Plant Areas) is one of the most actual international programs performing within the framework of the Convention on Biodiversity Conservation. The Zeravschan Range is a part of the Mountains of Central Asia Global Biodiversity Hotspot; this region of Uzbekistan has been recommended for creation of protected area. The flora of Uzbek part of the Zeravschan Range is distinguished by significant diversity including numerous endangered, rare, endemic and sub-endemic species which conservation has national and global importance. This article describes in detail the taxonomy of high-water plants in fisheries based on fisheries in the Bukhara region and the biotechnology of their use as nutrients for fisheries. Alpine plants in this area are classified into important ecological groups such as hydrophobites, hydrophytes and hydatophytes, and their percentage is also analyzed. According to the results of research, 111 species from 38 families and higher aquatic plants are presented in a detailed table. Practical recommendations on the biotechnology of using these plants as food for food are given. Practical results illustrate the current problems of growing Amur white (Ctenopharyngodon idella) …

Terrestrial Mollusks Of The Peshagar Garge, Abdulla Tojikulovich Karimkulov

This article is devoted to terrestrial mollusks of the Peshagar gorge of the Malguzar mountains, where data on the faunistic composition, ecology and zoogeography of terrestrial mollusks are presented. The author identified 14 species of terrestrial mollusks belonging to 11 genera and 9 families in the Peshagar gorge. In an environmental analysis, all terrestrial mollusks were classified as hygrophylls. In addition, according to adaptation to dry conditions, they were divided into 3 ecological groups, that is, hygrobionts, xerobionts and xerogygrobionts and analyzed. The main purpose of this research is to analyze the degree of variability and correlation of quantitative characteristics of sorghum varieties in saline soil conditions of Syrdarya region. For this purpose, “Karabosh” sugar and “Daulet” varieties of corn were selected as experimental sites. The distributive leader cannot influence organizational performance without taking into consideration the capabilities of team members to achieve a common goal (McIntyre, 2003; Harris, 2003). To leverage the capabilities of teams, distributive leaders need to be mindfully attentive in establishing a collective interpretation of the current organizational situation. As the United States becomes increasingly more diverse, it is imperative that organizations consider the implications of their leadership pipeline. Given the differences that can exist by social identity groups in experiences, values, interests, and communications, it raises a question about the responsiveness of current leadership theories to the changing demographics. This article explores the responsiveness of transformational leadership, authentic leadership, and leader-member exchange (LMX) theory to the demographic changes as a means of helping organizations consider how existing leadership norms and theories need to be expanded to encompass the future population of leaders across race, sex, and age.

Lessons Learned From A Training Of Trainers Model In Africa, Corinne Brion

Few adequate educational leadership trainings are available for school leaders in Africa (Bush & Oduro, 2006). Due to the lack of professional development in leadership, the use of a Training of Trainers (TOT) model appears to an effective way to build the capacity of large numbers of school leaders. For the past few years, Dr. Paula Cordeiro and I have worked on a TOT model in Burkina Faso, Ghana, Liberia, Ethiopia and Rwanda. This article provides key lessons we learned from our experience with TOT.

Prosocial Leadership: The Transformative Power Of Others Directed Leadership Behavior, Timothy G. Ewest

Journal of Research Initiatives

This paper seeks to provide an understanding of the prosocial leadership development process as defined by Ewest (2018), and how it acts to personal flourishing. To this end, this paper will provide an understanding of personal flourishing as discussed by Rogers (1959), positive psychology framed by Mackie, (2017) and then considers the emerging positive theories of leadership as discussed by Ewest (2018b). Finally, the paper will resolve by considering prosocial values, and specifically the prosocial leadership development process as posited by Ewest (2018), including the four steps in the process and possible benefits from becoming a prosocial leader.

Increasingly, suburban universities find themselves in communities facing challenges that inner cities have had to deal with for decades, including concentrated poverty, housing vacancy, and underperforming school districts. While the problems are similar, the institutional context is different. Compared to central cities, suburban municipal governments generally lack the resources necessary to sustain robust community economic development initiatives. Further, suburbs often lack the rich landscape of nonprofit organizations that were built up over many decades in central cities. Over one million international students attend American institutions of higher education each year. For many of these students, community colleges are an accessible and increasingly popular enrollment option because they offer small class sizes, intensive English language courses, and affordable tuition costs. Many international students enrolled in community college seek to transfer to a four-year university and complete a Bachelor’s degree. To date, the experiences of international students who successfully complete this transfer pathway have gone largely unstudied.
