The Effects Of A Yearly Attendance Incentive Plan And Formal Evaluation Of Teacher Attendance On Teacher Absences, Steve E. Phillips

This study analyzed the effect yearly teacher attendance incentive plans have on teacher absence rates, iii the effect school size has on teacher absence rates, and the effect formal evaluation of excessive teacher absences has on teacher absence rates. The statistics used to test the significance of these approaches were a one-way analysis of variance and a two-way analysis of variance. Along with the analysis of these factors, this study generated information regarding teacher absences. The study investigates the function of development offices in public higher education institutions: What are the functions of the office with repect to planning, activities, resources, and evaluation? Which functions do chief development officers view as most important? The population included the Development Director of all public state universities that are members of CASE with enrollments between 6,000 and 20,000. A questionnaire was mailed to all 77 universities. Participants were asked to indicate time spent and importance of each function. tests were utilized to treat the data statistically.
