This document contains the WKU Placement Bureau cards used to place student teachers in schools around Kentucky. The cards give the students’ name, college, position wanted, number of credits and work history. Some cards have a photograph attached. When the photos are detached they immediately follow the student’s card. This particular file contains cards for students Igleheart through Ivey.

Constructive classroom discipline is an important part of the educative process. It provides children with the opportunity to experience the satisfaction of fitting into a social group in an atmosphere which is conducive to learning and which promotes healthy emotional control. Academic learning and disciplined behavior are inseparable. If the latter breaks down, the former is impaired. Good teaching is made possible only by good discipline. This paper will explore, by means of the research, what is considered good discipline in the classroom.

The purpose of this study is to propose for Metcalfe County a school system that will come nearer meeting the standards of a good educational system than the one now in use. It is by no means expected that this proposed system will be perfect and the writer fully realizes that oftentimes a scheme on paper will not work out so well when actually put into practice. However, being acquainted with the amount of money available, the geographic and economic conditions, and the roads of the county it is the best that can be done under existing circumstances.
