Weathering is a series of embroidered works that explore the symbolic and cartographic language of meteorology. Through research, mentorship and the physical work, my understanding and anxiety around weather has grown. Making art is a learning process for me: the haptic is a means for understanding. From embroidered world maps to animation to painted laundry, I conflate the intricacy of textiles with the complicated nature of the atmosphere.

It is radical in how it reveals the damage inflicted by what he labels the Dominant (Western) Worldview. He urges us to return to the primal healing ways of the contrasting ancient Indigenous Worldview in order to limit the largely anthropogenic 6^th mass extinction on planet earth. This article and companion video detail the Creative Nature Connection program, its theory and application, in five place based learning classrooms. Opening the senses, repeated practice, using simple materials, making encounters personally meaningful, following the principles of contemplative practice and supporting improvisational free play all support the shift to being in- sync with nature building a love of nature, creative confidence and environmental knowledge. How can the teaching of biology contribute to sustainability education? The authors of this article suggest that their approach has the potential to increase the students’ level of engagement with the natural environment. The scope of biology teaching can be widened by allowing room for more experience and art-based activities. Such a change may deepen and expand the learners’ insights in natural phenomena, which in turn might foster or enhance an attitude of care-taking for the natural environment.

This article sketches two contrasting ideal-typical narratives of sustainability, a disenchanting and an enchanting one, and argues that current thinking in sustainability is mainly situated in the narrative of disenchantment. This narrative is based on various obsolete philosophical assumptions, and hampers the transformation process, as it distances the population from being part of this. It then sketches the narrative of enchanting sustainability and shows how this has the capacity to engage, intrigue and motivate people to be involved. Each of these lessons was designed to meet local and national standards for the core content area and for visual arts. Additionally, each lesson plan includes a component of art production. The aim of this research is to describe the effectiveness of using Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach in Arabic Language Research Method Class. It uses a quasi-experimental (pre- experimental design). The result shows that generally using PBL is effective in both aspects of the learning process and the learning outcomes. The specific findings in this research is that the using PBL is not effective for students in the lower class category both from the aspect of competence, learning attitude, willingness to learn, learn discipline, and activeness in class.

The study found that art education teaching materials, designed according to specific learning strategies, have the potential to improve learners' entrepreneurial mindset. The results of this study offer strategic value for the development of entrepreneurship education in Indonesia, particularly considering that the findings have the potential to be extended to other fields and subjects across various types and levels of education.

Therefore, this paper proposes a story-based approach, particularly a joint storytelling with multi-party interaction, to deal with learners’ L2 sociopragmatic sensitivity. EFL learners with diverse cultural backgrounds need a motivating environment with agents that can co-construct experiences for optimum learning. This study uses descriptive qualitative critical discourse analysis approach of Fairclough’s models. As a part of critical thought, there are several points of view selected to find the meaning of the lingga-yoni artifact, they are anthropological, formal-structural, mythological, philosophical, and positivistic. This exploratory study employed qualitative methodology, specifically values analysis, to learn more about how being involved within Hip hop dance communities positively relates to adolescent development. Adolescence was defined herein as ages 13-23. The study investigated Hip hop dance communities in terms of cultural expertise (i.e. novice, intermediate and advanced/expert) to look specifically at dance narratives (i.e. peak experience narratives and “I dance because” essays) and hip hop dance performances. In this paper, I explore the pairing of the concepts of fictive kinship and agency in order to explore racial identity narratives of the Black American art teacher. Expanding on the anthropological concept of fictive kinship, where bonds of connectedness between people help to shape selfhood, I consider the powerful impact that visual culture has on shaping identity narratives and the professional aspirations of Black American art teachers.
