This study investigates the factors shaping undergraduate student interest in law enforcement careers. By surveying students from various Midwestern universities, this research aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the interplay between social influences, gender, and curricular exposure in shaping law enforcement career aspirations. Specifically, it examines how motivations for pursuing a public service career, external influences, and background characteristics shape career interest overall. The study also examines how these factors shape career interest between men and women and overall motivation to engage with specific law enforcement course topics. Findings inform policy and curriculum design.

The present study aimed to explore the role of kindergarten curriculum in developing soft skills among children from the perspective of kindergarten teachers. The researcher adopted a descriptive survey approach and utilized a questionnaire as the primary data collection tool. The study sample consisted of 275 kindergarten teachers from public schools under the Mafraq District Directorate of Education. The results indicated that the role of the kindergarten curriculum in developing children's soft skills was high, with a mean score of 3.76. In 2015, controversy surrounded the interactive computer game Mission US: Flight to Freedom. The game was unveiled as an accessible way to teach about American chattel slavery by mixing elements normally associated with roleplaying games (RPGs), Tabletop Roleplaying Games (TTRPGs), and social studies curriculum. The purpose of this study was to explore pedagogical strategies and curriculum (media and art projects) that 6th through 8th grade middle school art teachers use to motivate students to participate in the visual arts. Specifically, it examined the instructional strategies, media choices, and art projects that teachers perceived as inspirational and motivational for middle school students. This qualitative study included data from 17 middle school art teachers, collected through interviews, video-recorded nonverbal communication cues, and teacher-submitted artifacts. The purpose of this study was to determine whether industry-recognized credentials (IRCs) earned in secondary school led to quality employment and which IRCs should be integrated into career and technical education (CTE) high school courses. Using survey data from business leaders across the 14 nationally recognized Career Clusters (Advance CTE, 2024a), credentials were ranked by importance within five program areas (n = 257). Pareto analysis revealed 80% of respondents rated health sciences, family and consumer sciences, and agricultural sciences credentials highest, while business/marketing and skilled/technical sciences/STEM credentials did not rank in the top 20%.
