The study gathered data and compared professional opinions which were used to identify appropriate assignments, selection criteria, training procedures, and supervision of paraprofessional personnel for community college counseling services. A related purpose was that guidelines might be developed for the appropriate utilization, selection, preparation, and supervision of paraprofessional workers.

This study was conducted to: (1) ascertain the current economic status of certain select students from the 1961-65 California school programs for orthopedically handicapped and other health impaired students, (2) examine the medical-educational program prosed by the Clitoris Legislators (3) identify physical and educational patterns associated with various degrees of employment, and (4) investigate the possible relationship between the kind of school program offered and the students' degree of employment.

The problem of this study was to investigate the degree to which moral values are· included in the educational program of engineering students at selected California public community colleges. The study also attempted to determine to what degree an increased emphasis on the teaching of moral values would be beneficial to engineering students, as well as others.

A review was made of articles and books on the subject of values. Particular attention was given to material which specifically referred to technology and its relation to values.

The experiments reported in the present paper may be characterized as belonging to the general area of motivation research referred to as stimulus selection behavior. Stimulus selection behavior includes curiosity, exploratory, and manipulatory activities. Generally, the research in the area attempts to determine the relation between changes in the stimulus and changes in the measures of approach behavior in the subject (s). In this research, approach behavior is apparently unrelated to organic need conditions.
