The purpose of this study was to investigate the effect of using the writing processes on improving the performance of ninth grade students in some writing skills. To answer the questions of the study, a 175 ninth grade students was selected, A strategy based on writing processes approach, and a writing test were implemented. The research aimed to identify the role of parents in following up their children’s education during the teachers’ strike, according to several variables. To achieve this, a quantitative and qualitative analytical approach was used, through two research tools, namely the questionnaire and focus groups to collect data. 151 parents participated in the research, and the sample was the type of sample available who teach their children in government schools. The study found that about 90% of students did not receive education, partially or completely, during the teachers’ strike period, and that approximately 55% of parents helped continue their children’s education. …

The aim of this study is to investigate the perceptions of teachers and headteachers about the successful factors of mobile learning implementation in schools to enrich the use of mobile. The study involved 16 teachers and two headteachers in questionnaires from two mixed private schools. The interviews were conducted with 7 teachers and two headteachers. The results revealed that mobile learning enhances students’ learning, improves communication between teachers and students and offers authentic and situated learning. The research has been applied on a sample of (425) male and female teachers from basic education schools in Damascus in the second semester. The results showed the needs of employing blended learning in basic education schools from the point of view of teachers was high.There were no statistically significant differences according to the gender variable. There were no statistically significant differences according to the qualification variable. There were statistically significant differences according to the school dependency in favor of public schools.
