Poetry as an imaginative language art has long been perceived as the core of humanity, the foundation of human advancement (Arnold,1880; Rorty, 2007). By composing, critiquing, and sharing/performing poems, not only does the process enrich and deepen one’s relationship to oneself, understanding and reflecting on the contextual, historical, cultural, social, and creative backgrounds of the poems and poets allows one to have greater connections with the broader environment across temporal, spatial, and social dimensions with human and non-human beings.

This study aimed to identify the requirements for developing postgraduate programs at the College of Education, King Saud University, from the perspective of female faculty members. It also examined whether statistically significant differences existed in responses based on academic department and academic rank. A questionnaire was used as the primary data collection instrument and administered to 186 female faculty members—including professors, associate professors, and assistant professors—out of a total participants of 201. This study aimed to investigate the role of the "University Life Skills" course in developing and sustaining self-learning skills among female students at Taibah University, serving as a model for interdisciplinary social studies curricula aligned with the goals of sustainable social education. This study aimed to identify the level of readiness among teachers who teach students with autism spectrum disorder in inclusive education programs in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and to examine how prior training, specialty (general vs. special education), and teaching experience influence this readiness. A descriptive survey design was used validated for reliability, was administered to 144 teachers (84 general education, 60 special education). Results indicated a high level of readiness among participants overall. The study aimed to analyze the content of the science curriculum for the third intermediate grade in light of future thinking skills. The two textbooks in the 2025 science curriculum edition consisted of 12 chapters and 28 lessons. The study used a descriptive approach based on content analysis and developed an analytical instrument consisting of 32 indicators that were distributed across six core future thinking skills. These skills included prediction, problem-solving, visualization, anticipation, analysis of future situations, and future foresight. The present study investigates how the variation of speech rate affects the acoustic cues across stop-vowel sequences in Bisha dialect (BD), an Arabic dialect spoken in the southern region of Saudi Arabia. Applying an acoustic approach, the study examines segmental duration (closure and following vowel), fundamental frequency (f0 onset), and voice quality (H1-H2 onset) on target stops taken from a sample of thirty native speakers of BD. The acoustic measures are evaluated using linear mixed-effects and logistic regression models. The current research aimed to determine the extent of the "University Life Skills" course content's contribution to enhancing academic adjustment and self-confidence among students at the University of Hail. It utilized the Analytical Descriptive Method to achieve this objective. The research sample consists of (204) students enrolled in the course from six diverse colleges. The research results consistently confirmed that the course's contribution to both enhancing academic adjustment and developing self-confidence was perceived as high (mean scores: 2.57 and 2.60, respectively). Servingness On The Sidelines: Latina/O/X Athletic Administrators At Division I Hispanic-Serving Institutions, Guillermo Ortega

Journal of Issues in Intercollegiate Athletics

This qualitative study examines how servingness is understood and enacted within NCAA Division I athletic departments at Hispanic-Serving Institutions (HSIs). Guided by Garcia et al.’s multidimensional servingness framework, the study draws on interviews with ten NCAA Division I Latina/o/x athletic administrators. Findings reveal that athletics is frequently disconnected from institutional HSI missions, with servingness often reduced to symbolic or performative practices. Limited Latina/o/x representation in athletic departments further constrains institutional capacity to serve. Despite structural exclusion, participants cultivate servingness through cultural affirmation and community building. Implications highlight the need to structurally integrate athletics into HSI missions and redistribute cultural labor.
