يهدف البحث إلى دراسة واقع تكاليف إنتاج فروج اللحم وتحديد الحجم الأمثل للإنتاج لمشاريع إنتاج فروج اللحم في محافظة المثنى ,إذ مثلت نسبة عينة المجتمع الى المجتمع الكلي نحو (15%). وتعد من المشاريع الممثلة للدراسة، وأوضحت نتائج البحث ان تكلفة شراء الافراخ شكلت نسبة كبيرة من بنود التكاليف الكلية ثم تليها الأجور والمصاريف وتتبعها أجور الادوية واللقاحات بأقل نسبة وتوصي الدراسة بضرورة دعم المنتجين بتوفير الاعلاف وبأسعار مدعومة وتوجيه المنتجين من خلال إقامة الندوات والمؤتمرات لغرض السيطرة على الامراض وبالتعاون مع دائرة البيطرة في المحافظة ودعم المنتجين من خلال إعطاء القروض لغرض زيادة الإنتاج وتوفير معامل الاعلاف والمناهل وجميع المستلزمات …

هدفت هذه الدراسة إلى التعرف على دور لجان التدقيق في الحد من ممارسات إدارة الارباح وأثرها علـى جودة التقارير المالية المنشورة لشركات التأمين العراقية المدرجة فـي سوق العراق للأوراق المالية. لتحقيق أهداف هذه الدارسة تم تصميم استبانة وزعت على المدققين الداخليين والمحاسبين العاملين في شركات التأمين العراقية العامة بلغ عددها 110 استبانة تم استرداد 100 استبانة وتمت المعالجة الاحصائية المناسبة في التحليل باستخدام البرنامج الاحصائي SPSSوقد توصل البحث الى مجموعة من النتائج نذكر من اهمها أن إعداد تقارير تخص لجان التدقيق وبصفة دورية مرفقة مع التقارير المالية الدورية وبكل صدق وأمانة يمثل دعماً للجان التدقيق لغرض الارتقاء بمستوى جودة التقارير …

This paper explores the relationship between millennials’ online behavior and their opinions of online reviews via the use of focus groups and correspondence analysis. The proposition was that millennials’ online behavior (including search behavior) is likely to have an effect on how they view online reviews. The correspondence analysis results suggest that millennials who spend more time online peruse a greater number of products. Further, relationships were found between millennials’ time online and factors influencing review trustworthiness as well as millennials’ time online and factors affecting review memorability. As government budgets get tighter, there has been considerable public outcry about the continued investment in public mass transit systems and their financial viability. Amid this outcry, a number of studies have been conducted to determine which factors influence the use and efficiency of publicly-funded mass transit systems. These factors include population density and less sprawl (or greater urban compactness). However, their impact on mass transit usage is somewhat contradictory in that the heavy concentration of populations in the urban area and greater compactness is believed to increase mass transit usage due to a bigger number of potential passengers. The Influence Of The Electric Supply Industry On Economic Growth In Less Developed Countries, Edward Richard Bee

This study measures the impact that electrical outages have on manufacturing production in 135 less developed countries using stochastic frontier analysis and data from World Bank’s Investment Climate surveys. Outages of electricity, for firms with and without backup power sources, are the most frequently cited constraint on manufacturing growth in these surveys.

Outages are shown to reduce output below the production frontier by almost five percent in Africa and by a lower percentage in South Asia, Southeast Asia and the Middle East and North Africa. Production response to outages is quadratic in form. Outages also increase labor cost, reduce exports …

In response to this and other changes, such as the need for better measurement of performance, a strategic management tool was developed called the Balanced Scorecard (BSC). This research provides a tool to guide and evaluate BSC implementation. The purpose of this paper is to present an empirically derived framework for Logistics Management and discuss how it integrates organization’s short-term objectives with the need to respond to the complex external environment. Organizational theory, strategic planning and logistics management literature were reviewed carefully in identifying the conceptual support for the derived framework of logistics management and organizational competitiveness. The proposed generalized framework demonstrates that Logistics Management Strategy has the strongest positive effect on Organizational Competitiveness when it is mediated by Logistics Coordination Effectiveness and Customer Service Commitment. The purpose of this research is to identify critical skills needed in the logistics profession now and in the future. This study uses survey research, means tests, and importance analysis to explore a multi-factor framework that identifies critical supply chain skills perceived by 176 experienced supply chain professionals from manufacturing, transportation, and retail/wholesale segments. Results indicate significant differences exist between current and future needed skills, among current capabilities and current availability of skills, and among skill needs utilizing a multi-factor index. تهدف الدراسة لبيان اثر العمق المالي مقاسا ب ومعدل سعر صرف الدينار العراقي مقابل الدولار الامريكي على معدل التضخم في العراق للمدة (1970-2014). من جهة اخرى استخدمت طريقة Engle-Granger ذات الخطوتين وطريقة Johanson and Juselius لاختبار التكامل المشترك بين المتغيرات، ولتحديد اتجاه العلاقة السببية في الاجلين القصير والطويل بين المتغيرات أستخدم نموذج تصحيح الخطأ VECM. النتائج اشارت الى وجود تكامل مشترك بين العمق المالي وبين معدل التضخم وكذلك بين معدل سعر الصرف و معدل التضخم، وان هناك علاقة سببية تتجه من العمق المالي ومعدل سعر الصرف الى معدل التضخم في الاجلين القصير والطويل. وعليه، يجب التحكم في عرض النقود وايجاد …

This research examines the direct effect of country personality (CP) on consumer product attitude and indirect effect through consumer self-congruity between CP and his/her own self-concept on product attitude in an emerging country- Turkey. We propose an integrated structural equation model to examine the relationships. Measurement scales for CP, self-congruity and attitude are developed whose validities and reliabilities are confirmed by exploratory (EFA) and confirmatory (CFA) factor analyses with data collected from a sample of consumers in Turkey on two countries: USA and China.
