She’s the rock star of ETSU Public Safety’s Community Canine program, and today, Pepper celebrates her 4th birthday with students, faculty and staff. East Tennessee State University and Sodexo hosted a birthday party for Pepper in front of Starbucks at the D.P. Culp Student Center.

JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Feb. 15, 2022) – An East Tennessee State University professor of physical therapy recently led a multidisciplinary effort to update the clinical practice guidelines for the field of vestibular rehabilitation, published in the Journal of Neurologic Physical Therapy.
Dr. Courtney Hall says these guidelines are updated every five years as new research and scientific evidence emerge in the treatment of vestibular disorders, or inner ear balance problems that lead to dizziness.

JOHNSON CITY – (Feb. 9, 2022) For ETSU student Ian Shockley, long before the director calls “camera, action,” there’s lights.
A love for theater and, specifically, a deep passion for lighting design brought the Jonesborough resident to East Tennessee State University after graduating with honors from David Crockett High School in 2019.
Now in his junior year, Shockley is about to make his own debut. Next week, when the ETSU Department of Theatre and Dance presents the drama “Straight White Men,” it will mark Shockley’s first mainstage show as a lighting designer.

JOHNSON CITY – (February 3, 2022) The recent Broadway hit “Straight White Men” will make its regional premiere Feb. 17-20 at East Tennessee State University’s Martin Center for the Arts. Presented by the ETSU Department of Theatre and Dance, the show will be performed Feb. 17-19 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. in the Bert C Bach Theatre.
“Straight White Men” is written by Young Jean Lee, who was the first Asian American woman to have a play produced on Broadway. The show opened Off-Broadway in November 2014 and was later produced by the Steppenwolf Theatre …
