This study examines the impact of toxic leadership on employee silence in public healthcare institutions within Sukkur Division, Sindh, Pakistan. Although prior studies have mostly focused on corporate settings, little is known about how toxic leadership shapes employee silence in public healthcare systems of developing countries. This study explored the barriers hindering the adoption of cognitive performance tests in HR practices within Pakistan’s banking sector and developed practical recommendations for enhancing their implementation. A qualitative approach was adopted, and 16 semi-structured interviews were conducted with HR professionals from major banks in large cities. It aims to explore potential barriers to using and incorporating cognitive ability tests in selection practices. The data was later interpreted, and the findings highlighted five key themes. The study investigated the work stress of marketing professionals in terms of organizational factors, environmental factors and personal factors. Marketing professionals of 51 corporations from twelve sectors of industry listed with Lahore Stock Exchange constituted the sample. An adapted questionnaire having 34 items was used to collect the data. Mean scores were calculated for measuring the significance analysis. Frequencies, standard deviation, one-sample t-test, independent samples t-test, and oneway ANOVA were used to measure and compare the level of stress of the marketing professionals. This study investigates the effects of employees' perception of performance appraisal process on organizational commitment, job satisfaction, and employee retention in readymade garments sectors. Results indicate a significant positive relationship between employee retention with performance appraisal process. Conversely, organizational commitment indicates a negative but not significant relationship with performance appraisal process. Study recommends that Readymade Garments sector requires fair performance appraisal system to enhance employee's job satisfaction and organizational commitment. The purpose of this paper is to examine the relationship between performance management system (PMS), employee's job satisfaction and thus, their commitment to the organization by working for its fate. If various characteristics of PMS that build commitment and satisfaction could be identified, then managers may be more capable of using PMS so as to yield positive results. Further, the study will also examine the impact of PMS on organizational effectiveness by enhancing personal performance using appropriate performance measures.
