Publishers sell ad impressions, where an impression is one display of an ad in a web page. A common way to sell ad impressions is through real-time bidding (RTB). In 2019, advertisers in the United States spent nearly 60 billion U.S. dollars on programmatic digital display advertising. The newsvendor problem is a single-period stochastic model used to determine the order quantity of perishable product that maximizes/minimizes the profit/cost of the vendor under uncertain demand. The goal is to fmd an initial order quantity that can offset the impact of backlog or shortage caused by mismatch between the procurement amount and uncertain demand. If there are multiple products and substitution between them is feasible, overstocking and understocking can be further reduced and hence, the vendor's overall profit is improved compared to the standard problem. The Kansas-Agriculture-Business-Industry-Education (KABIE) Tour was an annual tour, conducted from 1950 to 1967, sponsored by the Kansas State Chamber of Commerce in collaboration with the state universities and other Kansas businesses and associations. The two-week tour took teachers and students to forty communities in Kansas, travelling 2,100 miles. The purpose of the study is to examine the quantity and quality of Sustainability Reporting (SR) by Dublin Airport in a case study on Dublin Airport in Ireland. It uses content analysis to examine the use of the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and the UN’s SDG categories. The study considers stakeholder theory in sustainability reporting studies. The study finds a pattern of disclosures in all three areas of sustainability – economic, environmental and social.

I examine the effect of a common auditor in supply chain on supplier’s performance. A common auditor in supply chain is defined as the same audit firm that provides auditing services to both the supplier and the customer. As the common third party, the common auditor could transfer information between supplier and customer, which might benefit the performance of the supplier. I find that a common auditor can increase supplier’s ROA and this effect is driven by the reduction of supplier’s production cost. I also find that a common auditor can reduce supplier’s receivables conversion periods. This finding gives evidence …

This study examined how economic activities affect the direction of money supply in Malaysia. The overnight policy rate is the interest rate set by Bank Negara Malaysia (BNM) as its monetary policy tool. Based on the Keynesian Economic Theory, the autoregressive distributed lag (ARDL) model was applied to analyse how the industrial production index, interest rate and consumer price index influenced money supply. The findings of this study supported the notion that economic growth significantly affected the money supply in the short run. There was no evidence of such a relationship in the long run. This study explored how local communities can increase their ‘self-help’ capacity and achieve locality development from a grassroots level, and from an Effectuation perspective. This study explored the micro factors that enable transformational activity and explored the effectiveness and relativeness of government policy in reducing barriers to locality development. Locality development in rural Ireland was then viewed through an Effectual Lens to develop a mechanism to cultivate transformational activity in rural communities. Entrepreneurs benefit significantly from being perceived as legitimate during the venture creation process. The strategies they use to obtain legitimacy, however, change contingent on costs. Importantly, available strategies have the power to influence entrepreneurs' decisions to exploit perceived opportunities and enter the market. Within this context, I investigate the relationship between regulative legitimacy and entry. The findings from my research suggest a nuanced relationship between regulative legitimacy and entry. Specifically, my results suggest that licensing, a common type of regulative legitimacy, may not lower information asymmetries, and that its ultimate effect on entry may be contingent on its costs, and …
