การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาเทคโนโลยี ศักยภาพทางการตลาด ปัจจัยการประเมินระบบที่เหมาะสมกับภูมิอากาศแบบร้อนชื้น และการพัฒนาซอฟต์แวร์ประเมิน การวิจัยแบ่งเป็น 4 ระยะ 1) การศึกษาเทคโนโลยีระบบโซล่าเซลล์ ศักยภาพทางการตลาด ปัจจัยการประเมิน โดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก 2) การพัฒนากระบวนการประเมินระบบ โดยการทดลอง การบันทึกข้อมูล และวิเคราะห์โมเดลสมการโครงสร้าง หรือ SEM 3) การศึกษาคุณลักษณะสำคัญของซอฟต์แวร์ การทดสอบและปรับปรุงประสิทธิภาพ โดยการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก และ 4) การทดสอบการยอมรับซอฟต์แวร์และรูปแบบการใช้ในเชิงพาณิชย์ ด้วยการวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเชิงปริมาณ ผลการวิจัยทราบเทคโนโลยีและแนวคิดการออกแบบ การทดลองผลิตพลังงานไฟฟ้านำมาสร้างสมการทำนาย ผลการพัฒนาดัชนีอุณหภูมิอากาศแวดล้อมมีค่าระหว่าง 0.949 – 1 และดัชนีฝุ่นละอองในอากาศมีค่าระหว่าง 0.909 – 1 จากนั้นพัฒนาสมการประเมินระบบใหม่ที่ผนวกดัชนีข้างต้น ผลการวิเคราะห์ความแตกต่างระหว่างสมการแบบปกติและสมการที่พัฒนาขึ้น (p = 0.001) ผลการทดสอบสมการคำนวณใหม่มีขนาดของระบบสูงกว่า 2.34% พลังงานที่ผลิตได้และเป้าหมายต่างกัน 1.89% ผลการวิเคราะห์ความแตกต่างซอฟต์แวร์ “iDEPV” กับพลังงานไฟฟ้าที่บันทึกได้จากโครงการที่ติดตั้งแล้วมีความใกล้เคียงกันความแตกต่างระหว่าง -1.28 ถึง 0.77% นอกจากนั้นผลการยอมรับซอฟต์แวร์แสดงให้เห็นว่าความต้องการใช้งานในระดับมาก ส่วนผลการพัฒนารูปแบบในเชิงพาณิชย์มีอัตราผลตอบแทนภายใน 31.23% และระยะเวลาคืนทุน 2 ปี 9 เดือน

โครงการพิเศษนี้จัดทำขึ้นเพื่อศึกษาการประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีเครื่องพ่นละอองขนาดเล็กเพื่อเคลือบเสื้อผ้าตามความต้องการ ประยุกต์ใช้ในผ้ากันยุงเคลือบด้วยสารละลายเพอร์เมทรินเข้มข้น 0.5% (w/v) เป็นสารออกฤทธิ์ไล่ยุง และใช้สารละลายต้นแบบสีแดงเป็นอินดิเคเตอร์เพื่อศึกษาคุณสมบัติของละอองขนาดเล็กบนผ้าตัวอย่าง ได้แก่ ผ้าฝ้าย (คอตตอน 100%) และผ้าโทเร (คอตตอน 35% และโพลีเอสเตอร์ 65%) ผลการศึกษาละอองขนาดเล็กจากเครื่องอัลตราโซนิคอะตอมไมเซอร์ ให้อนุภาคขนาดเล็กที่มีขนาดใกล้เคียงกันและกระจายตัวเคลือบบนพื้นผิวผ้าสม่ำเสมอมากกว่าวิธีสเปรย์ด้วยกระบอกฉีดน้ำ และผลการทดสอบผ้ากันยุงต้นแบบที่เคลือบด้วยเพอร์เมทริน 0.5% (w/v) สามารถยืนยันผลการเคลือบด้วยวิธีคำนวณค่าน้ำหนักบนพื้นผิวของสารหลังเคลือบและผลเอกลักษณ์ของพีคสารเพอร์เมทรินด้วยเครื่อง FT-IR ผลสำรวจการยอมรับนวัตกรรมการเคลือบผ้าด้วยละอองขนาดเล็ก พบว่าประชากรมีความสนใจทดลองใช้เทคโนโลยีเคลือบผ้าด้วยละอองขนาดเล็กเพื่อใช้เป็นเสื้อผ้ากันยุง ในระดับมากถึงมากที่สุดคิดเป็น 55.0 % ระดับปานกลาง 40.3 % และระดับน้อยถึงน้อยที่สุด 4.7 % ส่วนปัจจัยที่มีผลต่อการยอมรับเทคโนโลยีมากที่สุดคือ ความปลอดภัยของส่วนผสมของสารกันยุง และผ่านการรับรองจากหน่วยงานที่เกี่ยวข้อง ผลการศึกษาเทคโนโลยีการเคลือบด้วยละอองขนาดเล็กใช้สารเคลือบในปริมาณน้อยและสม่ำเสมอ ไม่ทำลายสิ่งแวดล้อม และสามารถประยุกต์ใช้เทคโนโลยีได้กับหลายสารเคลือบ

งานวิจัยฉบับนี้ได้ศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ของแพลตฟอร์มการให้บริการการขึ้นรูปต้นแบบแม่พิมพ์ด้วยเครื่องพิมพ์สามมิติสำหรับอุตสาหกรรมเครื่องประดับ โดยมีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่ทำให้เกิดการยอมรับนวัตกรรมสำหรับแพลตฟอร์มการให้บริการเครื่องพิมพ์สามมิติและแพลตฟอร์มร้านค้าออนไลน์สำหรับสินค้าเครื่องประดับ และขอบเขตการศึกษาสำหรับกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งหมด 4 กลุ่มคือ นักออกแบบเครื่องประดับ ผู้ประกอบการในอุตสาหกรรมเครื่องประดับ ผู้ให้บริการเครื่องพิมพ์สามมิติ และบุคคลทั่วไป โดยมีการเก็บข้อมูลเชิงคุณภาพ (Qualitative Research) เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยต่าง ๆ ที่มีผลกระทบต่อผู้ใช้บริการและผู้ให้บริการเครื่องพิมพ์สามมิติ และมีการกำหนดกลุ่มตัวอย่างเป็นกลุ่มผู้ให้บริการเครื่องพิมพ์สามมิติจำนวน 3 ราย และผู้ใช้บริการเครื่องพิมพ์สามมิติจำนวน 3 รายในกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมเครื่องประดับ หลังจากนั้นมีสร้างแบบจำลองแพลตฟอร์มเพื่อนำมาศึกษาปัจจัยในการยอมรับนวัตกรรมและออกแบบวิธีการเก็บข้อมูลสำหรับกลุ่มตัวอย่างด้วยวิธีการเก็บข้อมูลแบบ (Quantitative Research) จากการใช้แบบสอบถามจำนวน 227 ราย โดยผลการศึกษาและการเก็บข้อมูลพบว่ามีผู้ยอมรับนวัตกรรมจำนวน 62% จากกลุ่มตัวอย่างทั้งหมด และจำนวนผู้ยอมรับนวัตกรรมจำนวน 75% จากตัวอย่าง 20 รายที่เคยใช้บริการเครื่องพิมพ์สามมิติ

Information Externalities And Voluntary Disclosure: Evidence From A Major Customer’S Earnings Announcement, Young Jun Cho, Yongtae Kim, Yoonseok Zang

We examine the relation between information externalities along the supply chain and voluntary disclosure. Information transfers from a major customer's earnings announcement (EA) can substitute for its supplier's disclosure. Conversely, if the customer's EA increases uncertainties regarding the supplier's future prospects, it can increase the demand for disclosure. After controlling for information incorporated in supplier returns, we find that the supplier is more likely to issue earnings guidance after the customer's EA when the EA news deviates more from the market's expectation. The positive effect of the customer's news on earnings guidance is weaker when common investors, supply-chain analysts, or …

This study assessed and compared the work capability of persons with disabilities (PWDs) and their able counterparts that covered the following aspects of work: (a) time on task, (b) work attitude, and (c) task compatibility. It was hypothesized that PWD workers are competent and productive in the workplace if the right task is given to them. Four employees with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) working either as administrative or store clerk in a drugstore chain participated in the study. The Philippine government has suffered greatly from fiscal imbalances for the past few decades. The largest fiscal deficit was recorded at PhP112 billion in 2017. Fiscal reforms led to a considerable decline of the national government debt from 52.4% of GDP in 2010 to 44.8% in 2015. Employees’ receipt of inducements is associated with trust and affective commitment, and employees pay for their inducements with their contributions (e.g., time, and physical and intellectual effort). Yet this relationship does not fully mirror events as they occur in an employment relationship where employees’ promises and delivery of inducements and contributions are ongoing, and relatively continuous. Our premise is that promising and delivering contributions may enhance or reduce employees’ trust in and commitment to the organization depending on how well they fulfill psychological needs. This paper examines the impact of culture and employee satisfaction on company performance; it considers which elements of culture are most important in specific industries: manufacturing, technology, and finance. Additionally, it explores whether these elements of productive cultures are also associated with employee satisfaction. It uses data from the MIT Sloan Management Review/Glassdoor Culture 500 database, which applied machine learning to analyze 1.2 million Glassdoor reviews. This data quantitatively measures nine dimensions of culture: agility, collaboration, customer focus, diversity, execution, innovation, integrity performance, and respect—assigning each company a score for every cultural dimension. Much of the focus has been centered on macro-economic effects and not firm level impacts. Using trade exposure and data from publically traded manufacturing firms I provide an analysis of the potential effects of increased trade exposure in a highly competitive market. My research aims to measure the impacts of Chinese imports on United States manufacturing companies with low technological barriers to entry. This study analyzes the impacts of different announcements of the Qualified Mortgage GSE Patch expiration, set for January 10, 2021. The Qualified Mortgage GSE Patch was introduced in January 2014 to allow for the GSEs, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae, to originate loans above the monthly Debt-to-Income ratio of 43 percent with the same protections as a Qualified Mortgage. Unlike prior research on the matter, the firms investigated in this study consist only of firms on both the Fortune 500 for the year 2018 and the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI) between the years 2005-2018 in order to define a clear measurement of CSR. Employing a granular hand-collected dataset, this paper studies the formation of local financial networks as a consequence of one of the largest bank failures during the Great Depression. The collapse of the National Bank of Kentucky caused ripples throughout the interbank network as 233 banks were faced with the decision to form new connections to reallocate reserves. Tracing over 1600 institutional linkages between 1929 and 1934, I evaluate the decision-making process of commercial banks under a nested logit framework. I find that peer effects and other regional metrics, contrary to national connectivity measures, act as principal determinants in network formation. …

As growth of the American craft brewing industry slows and smaller firms account for a greater proportion of expansion, I test whether traits that are indicative of smaller firms have an effect on brewery success. I hypothesize that firms which utilize localist strategies such as geographical branding, use of local ingredients, charitable giving, and/or sustainable practices are more successful than others and therefore produced more barrels of beer in 2017. Prior research indicates that most audit legal disputes settle. There is, however, little evidence of the factors that drive the settlement norm and its exceptions in audit legal disputes. To better understand these factors, we rely on theory related to how professionals manage risks and, as a result, how professions defend jurisdictional claims. We use this theoretical lens to help motivate four research questions that we probe by interviewing 27 prominent attorneys experienced in audit litigation.
