Business Intelligence In Meeting Planning Software, Svetlana Staneva

This paper is a content analysis of business intelligence functionality in major meeting planning software. The research explores products for list management work (primarily handling online registration), various products providing multi-level database support (registration, housing, event logistics), and others in the categories of attendee management and exhibition management. It presents an assessment of applications’ abilities to fulfill transactional recording needs as well as their extended capabilities to respond to analysis questions for strategic decision-making support.

No, they did not win the World Series, they won the World Baseball Classic, and for the second time in as many tries the United States did not make it to the finals. The U.S. military has placed a strong focus on the importance of operating in a joint environment, where capabilities and missions are shared between service components. Protecting U.S. forces is a major consideration in the joint environment. The Joint Force Protection Advanced Security System (JFPASS) architecture has been created to fill a critical gap in Joint Force Protection guidance for systems acquisition. The systems engineering (SE) field has made wide use of system architectures to represent complex systems. The Emergence Of A Content Acceptance Model (Cam): New Thoughts Regarding The Trial, Adoption, And Usage Of New Media, Ryan G. Walinski

New Media is defined not by the technology that it is based on but rather on individual level attributes that contribute to the development of new artifacts, practices and social arrangements. However, existing technology adoption models tend to stress technology and organizational level attributes over such individual level characteristics. This suggests that new models are required in order to fully capture how the New Media adoption process works. We are moving away from organizational and technology adoption focus and towards an individual and content adoption focus. The U.S. federal government maintains more than 500,000 facilities in the United States and around the world, most of which are heavily dependent on fossil fuels to produce electricity. Within the federal government, the Department of Defense (DOD) spends over $2.5 billion per year on facility energy consumption which makes them the largest single energy consumer in the United States. Therefore, federal energy conservation goals focus on aggressively reducing energy consumption by reducing the energy demand at the facility level within the next 20 years. There is no measure for the loss of corporate memory. Organizations build a reservoir of knowledge in its employees, and this knowledge becomes a critical ingredient in an organization’s ability to carry out its mission. Knowledgeable people are extremely valuable and once they leave, their organizationally-applied knowledge leaves with them. This study introduces specific knowledge attributes that significantly impact effective tacit and explicit knowledge transfer and retention. Under this construct the proposed investigation explores a government program office to see if replacing experienced government employees with outsourced personnel impacts corporate knowledge retention. We investigate natural resource-based poverty traps using a simulation model of smallholder farms in highland Kenya. Simulation modeling allows for detailed examination of the complex interactions and feedback between farm-household economic decision-making and long-term soil dynamics, which may contribute to persistent poverty among smallholders in this region. We examine the effects of changing initial endowments of land, labour and stocks of on-farm soil organic matter on the long-term welfare of these households. We find that larger farms are better able to cope with both labour shocks and deteriorating natural capital than smaller farms, with smaller farms remaining poor and unable …

Although I do not have a full scholarly paper completed for this submission, I have written a detailed report on this research study. The report was based upon a community-based research project with students and after the research was complete the report was distributed to the nonprofit community. The nonprofit community has absolute loved and utilized the findings of this study in their practices and future plans, but I have never presented the results at an academic conference or published in a refereed journal.

In order to understand why organizations make certain decisions and target certain outcomes, it is useful to understand their priorities and preferences, commonly referred to as “values.” This research explores the relationship between the technical values held by system development teams and the operational effectiveness of the systems those teams produce. Specifically, it examines the impact of a value set called FIST (Fast, Inexpensive, Simple, Tiny) on DoD and NASA system development projects, and investigates the correlation between the FIST values and operational outcomes. Management Presentations And Conference Materials
Kettering University’s terms are but eleven weeks long, allowing for forty hours of instruction. Four sections of the course over two years have proved that students can appreciate the risks, processes, and rewards of entrepreneurship in this short time frame. Students begin with a self-created idea around which to build a business, vote for best ideas, form teams (companies), and pursue the projects to develop a business plan for presentation at the conclusion of the term. Alternately, some teams are provided industrial patents to commercialize as examples of intrapreneurship. Evaluation of the results by faculty outside the course and the …
