Purpose: Development and control of endurance of handball players by studying modern innovative tools and methods of endurance development, as well as improving the effectiveness of endurance training.
Methods: The following techniques are used to train endurance: The technique of evenly performed exercises is used in the training of general endurance. This method is used during training to prepare for maximum continuous training, which is performed regularly with a pulse of no more than 130 beats per minute. Purpose: In this article, the issues of searching for the rational construction of the educational and training process of young gymnasts and the effective ratio of loads of different directions at the stage of in-depth specialization in the pre-competitive micro cycle are considered. JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (Nov. 19, 2021) – ETSU Health is returning to the East Tennessee State University Millennium Center for community COVID-19 vaccine clinics in November and December. The clinics will offer both primary doses and booster doses of the Johnson & Johnson Janssen COVID-19 vaccine. They are free and open to the public.
The clinics will be:
Sunday, Nov. 21, 1-5 p.m.- Tuesday, Nov. 23, 3-6 p.m.

JOHNSON CITY – (Nov. 19, 2021) East Tennessee State University is one of just four public four-year colleges in the state that saw an increase in new students for the fall 2021 semester. While overall enrollment at ETSU is down approximately 3% from last fall, the number of new students choosing ETSU went up by 13 percent, President Brian Noland reported today to members of the Board of Trustees during their quarterly meeting in the D.P. Culp Student Center.

Small business owners are continuously faced with challenges to grow their business. These challenges are not only related to market conditions, some of them are associated with the business owner's lack of knowledge or skills; thus, many of them seek mentoring opportunities. This project explores the knowledge gap between the mentor and mentee, with a focus on financial literacy and how it impacts mentoring outcomes. This three-day Winter Baking and Cooking experience, hosted by the ETSU Office of Professional Development, includes a field trip to the ETSU Planetarium with an emphasis on the winter sky and space.

Efficacy Of Flotation Aids Attached To The Pelvis And Thighs Of Beginning Swimmers, Yasunori Watanabe, Shin-Ichiro Moriyama, Kohji Wakayoshi
International Journal of Aquatic Research and Education
The study aimed to experimentally verify the efficacy of wearing flotation aids to add buoyancy from the pelvis to the side of the thigh on the swimming performance of beginning swimmers who were capable of swimming around 25 meters at a time. The study recruited seven male university students who were members of the Physical Education Department and who lacked experience in specialized swimming instruction. The study found statistical difference in prone flotation between the use of flotation aids (7.27±1.92 sec) and without flotation aids (3.50±0.72 sec). Depression in college athletics has become a growing concern in recent years. Thus, the current review sough to provide a comprehensive overview of the research conducted up to this point on the subject of depression in college athletics, while also revealing areas in which more research is still needed. The initial search of the research databases produced 729 articles. 26 of the articles met the inclusion criteria and were accepted for the review. Employment rates and post-school transition outcomes for individuals with disabilities remain alarmingly low compared to peers without disabilities. Transition-Focused Individualized Education Plans (TF-IEPs) often centre on skills associated with employment experience opportunities that are immediately available to the individual with a disability. While the transition plans focus on the student's strengths and areas of interest, less attention is paid to the guidance and support a student might need in choosing a sustainable career. Purpose: Assessment of cardiovascular response of qualified middle-distance runners to aerobic and anaerobic physical loads.
Methods: Qualified middle-distance runners at the stage of sportsmanship improvement (n = 20) were studied. Sports qualification - 2 and 1 categories. The analysis of Heart Rate Variability was carried out using the application “CardioMood” with “Polar h10” and “Polar M430”. A 5-minute electrocardiogram recording was performed. Only normal NN cardio cycles were studied. When analyzing Heart Rate Variability, the following parameters were obtained: HR, SDNN, pNN50, TP, entropy (H), modes (Mo), AMo, stress index.
