This work aims to study in depth the factors of coherence and cohesion in the theatre of Lope de Vega. For this study, the following phenomena have been chosen: presupposition, implication, context, situation, anaphora, ellipsis, word order, focus, topic and discourse marks. The author includes examples for its better explanation.

El problema de la crisis del teatro resultó complejo y de larga dilucidación en unos años de desorientación donde el pensamiento teórico teatral, manifestado mayormente en la prensa especializada, no llegó a encontrar respuesta adecuada en la práctica escénica. En este articulo se apuntan las causas de esta decadencia así como las soluciones que se propusieron en aquel momento para el resurgimiento escénico. Las publicaciones del periodo que debatieron el tema en sus páginas han servido como documentación prioritaria en este análisis.

This article studies the morphology of the mametian comedy and one of his best homages to theatre: A Life in the Theatre Here the baroque image of life as a theatre and its opposite are explored. Theatre is also a very closed world where we find the same problems as in outside world. Through parody and intertextuality Mamet finds his way in a play structured as a series of sketches.

In this article, we review one 'tailor-made play', one piece of organization theatre called Varnishing the Truth. We then reflect on the questions we asked of ourselves while watching this performance and reviewing the video of it: how does this activity relate to its claimed theoretical foundations (Boal's forum theatre)? Is forum theatre an appropriate model for organization theatre? Can 'things be made to move' by an activity such as the one to which we were an audience? When Harold Hill, a traveling con man, arrives in River City, he convinces the locals to start a band by purchasing the uniforms and instruments from him. His intention is to flee as soon as he receives the money. Librarian Marian Paroo suspects Harold is a fraud, but holds her tongue since her moody brother, Winthrop, is excited about the band. As Harold begins to develop feelings for Marian, he faces a difficult decision about skipping town.

This project entailed background research and documentation, casting, direction, and post-production evaluation of Heritage College's winter theatre production of Cinderella: The World's Favorite Fairytale. The production thesis documentation includes research and analysis on the play and its literary origins, evaluation of the play as a production vehicle, and a discussion of the directorial vision for this production.

It was Sigmund Freud who first promoted the idea of universal symbols by observing the recurring symbols found in dreams. It was his belief that the interpretation of these symbols was a link to the subconscious and that they were the result of the expression or repression of sexual energy that was common to all individuals. Based upon this theory Karl lung formulated his own theories about universal symbols stating the belief that they derived from a 'collective unconscious' that was inherent in the psyche of all individuals.
