Foraging Behavior And Seasonal Movements Of The Eastern Red Bat (Lasiurus Borealis) In Central Indiana, Brianne L. Everson
All-Inclusive List of Electronic Theses and Dissertations
Twenty-four female Eastern red bats (Lasiurus borealis) were captured and tracked to foraging areas near the Indianapolis International Airport during the summers of2003 and 2004 with full foraging data obtained on 13. A series ofmulti-azimuth (3-7) triangulations was used to estimate the location of each bat throughout the night. Euclidean distance analysis was used to examine habitat use by L. borealis. These bats had smaller home ranges than previously noted as well as smaller home ranges than other species at this location. They foraged over woodlands, newly planted tree fields, open water, park and pasture lands more than predicted by …

Translation: A Reflection On Conducting Translations Of English And Spanish Language Texts, Julie E. Mendez
Renée Crown University Honors Thesis Projects - All
Translation is a process that requires time and careful thought. A translator must possess the necessary skills to translate an original text into another language.

Spain’S Camino De Santiago: Dramatic Space For Literary Creation, Polly J. Hodge
World Languages and Cultures Faculty Articles and Research
"This project investigates the image of Spain's Camino de Santiago (The Way of Saint James) from a historical and literary point of view and in light of theories of space. It is postulated that the Camino serves as a dramatic space, a type of theatrical stage that serves as an integral backdrop for the production of many literary pieces throughout time. This stage set, or the image of the Camino, changes with the political and social ambiance of the historical moment. In this study four different types of literary works are considered: medieval legends of the Camino de Santiago; poetic …
