Part of the November 1963 issue of "The Missionary Tidings," the magazine of the Free Methodist Women's Missionary Society. The issue includes multiple articles on the state of the Free Methodist Churches and missionaries in Japan, including the DeShazers. Jacob contributed an article on seeing multiple generations of Japanese come to Christ, while Florence contributed two articles, one on the DeShazer's methods of evangelism in smaller towns and villages, and another on two Japanese churches celebrating 5 year anniversaries. A photo of some members of the DeShazer family witnessing in a Japanese village is featured on the cover.
